Roster Breakdown: This group of guys are going to run and then run some more. All of them are ball handlers that like to get up and down the floor. The guards will space the ball in the middle of the floor and they will be able to get to the rim or pull up in transition. The forwards they have will be able to run as well so they will be able to throw out a lot of different lineups. This is going to be a fun group to watch.
Guy You Have To Watch: Kamari Lands (Lawrence North)
I put Lands here because he is playing two levels up. He has put up monster numbers in middle school and I think that he will be able to do that in AAU this summer. His whole family is basketball oriented and he may be the best of them all. He rebounds the ball well and shoots it well so he could be a nice surprise on this team.
Best Bet To End Up Breaking Out: Tayson Parker (Northwestern)
Parker entered into public school for the first time last year after playing in the homeschool realm his freshman year. He improved a lot this past year but is only beginning to scratch the surface of his potential. He has received a D1 offer already, and I think that there will be many more to come this summer. He is still working on his handling and shooting but it is all starting to come together. Should be a guy who explodes this summer.
Who Should Be Watching: D1-D2
A few of these guys I think could transition into high major players and most are D1 players in some way. A few of them have offers going into their junior year of high school. This is going to be a crop of kids with Lands, Scales, Parker, and Powell possibly making it up to the high major ranks with Lands most likely already there in terms of his potential. A few guys will end up D2 but primarily this is a team with D1 talent.
