Gabe King (Irene-Wakonda, Sr). Averaged 23.1 points and 13.7 rebounds as a junior and the Northern State talent is about to push for even more this winter.
Michael Rogers (Warner, Sr.). A scholarship big, Rogers put up 16 points and seven rebounds a game a year ago and was just learning to play the post.
Majok Kur (Mitchell Christian, Sr.) His team may not have the best records but Kur is huge number productive and will have a lot of eyes on him this winter.
Camden Myers (Ethan, Sr.). Gave his team 16 points, ten rebounds, and three assists a season ago. A big encore is expected.
Alex Krueger (Rosholt, Sr.). Alex is a playmaker at forward that really impressed PHD this summer and we believe he’ll have a strong senior campaign.
Prseason All State – Second Team
Reed Harter (Colome, Sr). Produced 24 points a game last season and is likely to hit up 30 plus a night as a senior. Hits a ton from the arc.
Shay Jolley (Canistota, Sr.). Looking for a jumper? This guy has it for you. Watch the corners because Shay Jolley drops them from there all day.
Clayton Koch (Harding County, Sr). After 18 points, six assists, five boards, and four steals as a junior the encore could include some triple-doubles.
Broderick Poppinga (De Smet, Sr.). A playmaker on the wing who should get 20 a contest and hit 30 a couple times.
Aaron Wenade (Hanson, Sr.). Helped lead his 22-4 team to a state title, made the game winner heard around the state, returns along with quality size.
Prseason All State – Third Team
Robert Vomacka (Gregory, Jr). Had an excellent spring and summer with the Schoolers after a worker’s role last winter so bigger expectations.
Bennett White (Wolsey-Wessington, Jr). Sounds ready to take over a big role and lead this team back to another quality season.
Scott Seftner (Sulley Buttes, Sr.). A forward that has shown he can produce inside and out so watch for double-doubles.
Mason Larson (Langford, So.) This could be underselling what Mason can do but we really think he is going to have a big year. Maybe higher than 4th team.
Nick Young (White River, Sr.) Young is one of the more intelligent undersized low post bigs we have seen and we expect him to have a great senior year.
Prseason All State – Fourth Team
Tucker Kingsbury (Sanborn Central, Sr).
Brady Tiede (Sanborn Central, Sr).
Jayd VanDerWeff (Gregory, So).
Karsten Goehring (Herried/Selby, Sr)
Landon Leberman (Parker, Jr).
