Hunter Pinke, South Border. The UND football commit put up 21 points and almost 11 rebounds a game last season. Although he will play football, Pinke is also the best senior basketball prospect in Class B basketball.
Hayden Sadowsky, Hettinger-Scranton. The only returning first team all state player from a year ago Hayden is coming back from a 25 point, five rebound, three assist a game year and is now expected to put up LeBron type numbers and a lot of wins after a 21-4 season.
Dalton Poitra, St. John. After 26 points, six assists, and four steals last year, who knows what Dalton does for a senior campaign encore. Big expectations are there for a 30 plus per game year while still playmaking for others.
Brody Nieuswma, Strasburg/Zeeland. Brody is the best unsigned/uncommitted senior in the state and definitely one of the top playmakers. The craft of his game is there to produce for himself and his teammates on the move.
Wyatt Carr, Hazen. Carr is physically above most he will play in terms of agility and strength so a double-double each night is likely and a lot of double teams will be the norm. Already has D2 scholarship offers and more will come.
Prseason All State – Second Team
Connor Entzi, Edgeley/Kulm/Montlelier. A top five player in the senior class.
Tronis McKay, Four Winds/Minnewaukan. Will step into the main scoring role.
Landyn Keplin, Dunseith. A lights out shooter who moved from Turtle Mountain.
Graham Hurlburt, Enderlin. Another double-double guy who is the most skilled on his team.
Drew Thiegles, LaMoure/Litchville-Marion. Really impressed PHD over the summer inside and out.
Prseason All State – Third Team
Cody Springer, Northern Cass. Will team with Nelson and they will be top ten.
Deyondre Simpson, Parshall. Can he take the team back to state again?
Peyton Gabrielson, Flasher. A huge junior campaign leads into a key senior year.
Quincey Marlatt, Milnor/North Sargent. One of the most underrated talents out there.
Brennan Vance, Ellendale. Scored in many ways all summer.
Prseason All State – Fourth Team
Trace Azure, Dunseith.
Steve Red Fox, Four Winds/Minnewaukan.
Monte Goodbird, Parshall.
Jayden Komrosky, North Star
