Breakdown: When looking into the class of 2019 and the power forwards, we have a wide variety and this might be the deepest group at the DI level. Led by Trayce Jackson-Davis who is arguably the best player in the class, you also have Gillis, Mulloy, Barnes, Curry, Devault, all with offers at the DI level.
As for the breakdowns we did with other classes, here is out look at this moment: Tier 1 (HM-MM): #1-4, Tier 2 (LM-DII): #5-9, Tier 3 (DII-NAIA): #10-14, Tier 4 (NAIA-DIII): #15-30.
There is a ton of size in the class and there are some really good sized player. Guys like Sawyer Stoltz, Matt Dove, Sam Devault, and to a lesser extent a guy like Spencer Sroufe, those guys will give you that new age forward with length and mobility who can step out and shoot. But you have size with true post players as well. Wesley Jordan, Max Newman, Sydney Curry, and John-Michael Mulloy are more traditional bigs.
As for guys to watch this summer, look for guys like Sammy Robbins, Nate Childress, Sawyer Stoltz, and Jalen Johnson. Robbins is a hidden gem in southern Indiana, Childress and Stoltz are starting to put things together and could really impress, and Jalen Johnson needs a bigger stage.
