AAU season for unsigned seniors can be a stressful time depending on the level of expectations. Whether it’s going to a four-year school, a prep school, or a junior college, there are a lot of decisions to be made. Some colleges may be looking to add to their roster all the way up until May and because of this seniors still play AAU to get exposure. Here is a list of some unsigned seniors.
Jalen Chandler – Lakeshow 6’6′ SF
Chandler is a tremendous athlete who jumps extremely well and has potential to obtain a late scholarship offer from a four year. He had a great year with De Anza High School, as he was able to expand his game and showcase his all-around game. Chandler will play in front of plenty of coaches this spring which will put him in a great seat to get a late offer.
Malik Ghiden – Team Rampage 6’3′ SG
Ghiden won Co-MVP of the Solano County Athletic Conference this season for American Canyon High School. Ghiden is an excellent slasher and a great athlete who has continued to work on his outside shot. Ghiden has received interest from a few NAIA schools but he could be prime at the national junior college.
Marquis Davision – Lakeshow 6’3′ SG
Davison is another great athlete who could be prime at the national junior college level. His season with Vanden High School had its ups and downs but there are a lot of coaches who would be intrigued by Davison’s ability. He runs the floor really well, is a decent defender and can shoot from the outside.
Jalen Scott – Team Rampage 6’2′ SG
Scott won MVP of his conference this season with De Anza High School after playing sparingly with Salesian during his younger years in high school. Scott has potential to be a high division 2 player and could receive a late offer this spring. He has a great motor, rebounds really well for his size and is a great athlete.
Noah Zoppi – Undecided 6’2′ PG
Zoppi is a very skilled left-handed guard who can shoot from the outside and has a high basketball IQ. He has potential to be a Division 2 player with his ability. It will be interesting to see who he decides to play for this spring as he looks to gain more exposure.
