Prep Hoops Idaho’s Player Of The Week (2/19-2/26) Is Vallivue’s Amoro Lado
Prep Hoops Idaho is proud to continue our Player of the Week award for the 2017-2018 prep hoops season. Each Player of the Week candidate below has put up impressive stats during the past week in addition to being an integral member for their respective team.
Each week we highlight those who have stood out in a season long tradition spotlighting the top producing prospects in the state of Idaho.
In what has been a memorable past week in prep hoops across Idaho, there were plenty of standout performances to list as nominees for this week’s award. Teams punched their tickets to state while also grabbing district tournament hardware while others escaped defeat to cling on to last chance state tournament births. Either way, the action and production was impressive.
When the dust settled after our long list of nominees were voted upon this past week it was Vallivue’s Amoro Lado (2019) who earned Prep Hoops Idaho’s POTW honors. In his last two games of the week which both were wins to help keep his team’s state tournament chances alive and ultimately earning a spot, Lado came up big for his team by averaging 22.5 points and 8 rebounds. In his matchup with Emmett, Lado posted a huge double-double going for 23 points and 11 rebounds. The highly aggressive Lado will look to continue his hot play as his team faces Burley in their first round game of the 4A state tournament this Thursday.
Congratulations to Vallivue’s Amoro Lado, our Prep Hoops Idaho Player of the Week!
