The Talent: Centennial vs Cascia Hall
Three players stood out on Friday evening in Glenpool. The dynamic duo at Cenntenial of Nate Davis and Moun’Tae Edmundson led the Bison to victory. Get the inside scoop on what players colleges should take note of from the matchup. Davis was named the Prep Hoops Oklahoma Week 10 Player of the Week!
Nate Davis 2018 Centennial Guard
Davis is a quick small Guard that thrives off the dribble. He does have a solid pull up jumper from mid-range however on this night It was not his most efficient shooting performance. He forced shots throughout the game or would have had a higher percentage. I loved his motor that seemed to run really high throughout the game. The quickness of Davis opens a lot of shots for teammates and looks for him at the rim. He did a good job of attacking the rim in the second half which turned into making high percentage shots or getting fouled. He projects to the NAIA Division II level.
Moun’Tae Edmundson 2019 Centennial Point Guard
He was fantastic in all facets of the game leading the Centennial offensive attack. Edmundson is a smaller quick Point Guard that plays with a high basketball IQ. Early in the game, Edmundson found his shot. Once the defense started to collapse on his drive he did a great job of creating openings for teammates hitting them with crisp passes. The constant hustle of Edmundson is something coaches will love to see when they scout his game. He has one of the highest motors in the state. Edmundson projects to the small college level in the Oklahoma 2019 Class.
Luke Lawson 2020 Cascia Hall Wing
Lawson was a big bright spot for Cascia Hall on the last day of their season. He has a bright future on the court with his physical stature and skills. Lawson stretched the defense with his jumper throughout the game. Cascia Hall will be able to look to Lawson to lead them over the next two years. Small colleges should have Lawson on their board to track his progress.
