Here are some of the 2021 prospects that stand out from the list.
Jameon Harris (West Oaks)
Harris is a 6’4″ guard/forward has settled in nicely for West Oaks as a nice piece off the bench. He is going to take that next step this summer and he’s been more confident on both ends of the floor as of late. Harris is a pure athlete who takes the game seriously.
Deebo Coleman (West Nassau)
Up at West Nassau, Coleman has been a playmaker for his side. He is a strong-minded 6’3″ point guard who can score in bunches. Coleman has already drawn the attention of Division I programs and I expect him to further his knowledge and talent this summer on the circuit.
Walter Clayton Jr. (Lake Wales)
A player full of athleticism and speed, Clayton Jr. has improved endlessly from the beginning of the season to this point now. At 6’1″, he has room to grow as a shooter, but his attacking and ability to run an offense is impressive.
Trey Moss (Windermere)
At first-year Windermere, Moss has been an emerging factor all year long. The 6’1″ guard is a student of the game who can shoot, attack and dish out assists often. He has a high ceiling.
Oteman Delancey (Lakewood)
Lakewood plays tough basketball and Delancey fits the bill. The 6’3″ guard/forward has a nice stroke from outside. As he adds muscle to his frame, he’ll be to do even more.
John Solomon (Sarasota Christian)
At 6’5″, Solomon is a big boy. He gets to the rim with his length and power. He certainly doesn’t look like a freshman at first glance and that bodes well if he continues to put in the work.
Alex Vigo (Bartow)
Vigo doesn’t play like a freshman. Not at all. The 5’11” Bartow guard can shoot at a high clip and more impressively, he isn’t afraid to put his body on the line as an attacker or defender.
Alvin Tumblin (Sebring)
Sebring isn’t the deepest team, but it has a nice slasher in Tumblin. The 6’3″ forward finds good areas near the rim as an attacker. Once, he adds a consistent mid-range jumper to his game, he’ll take that next step.
Gabriel Ferguson (Edgewater)
Length is something that Ferguson has. At 6’7″, he’s getting the proper coaching and knowledge preached to him on a daily basis at Edgewater. I expect Ferguson to be the next best thing to come out of the program.
Charles Crews (Strawberry Crest)
Scoring is something Crews does often. The 6’0″ guard is a leader for Strawberry Crest already. He is a confident offensive player, but once he settles in and adds muscle, he’ll be an even better defender.
John Latimer III (Apopka)
Apopka has always been a team full of smart players and Latimer III is no different. At 5’9″, he’s a spot up shooter right now. He’s going to expand his game with more opportunities and that is important for his maturation.
