Recent College Commitments
Some very talented players around the state have given verbal commitments in recent weeks. Here are a few of them.
Ochai Agbaji 6’5″ Oak Park (Kansas) – The 2018 wing player has been the biggest stock riser in the state with his dominant play during the season. In a span of a week in late January, he received offers from Oregon, Wisconsin, Texas A&M. However, when Kansas head coach Bill Self came through with an offer, Agbaji shut things down and give a Jayhawks a commitment about a week later.
R.J. Lawrence 5’11” Blue Springs (Pittsburg State) – The smooth shooting 2018 combo guard gave a pledge to coach Kim Anderson’s program last week. The dynamic lefty has the ability to score at all three levels.
Hayden Sprenkel 6’2″ North County (Three Rivers C.C.) – The sharpshooting 2018 guard will be headed to perennial junior college national power Three Rivers and its legendary head coach Gene Bess. Sprenkel recently passed the 2,000 point plateau for his career and has been the Raiders’ all-time leading scorer for more than a year.
Brendon Hardy 6’3″ Farmington (Missouri Baptist) – The 2018 wing player has cast his lot with Missouri Baptist, an emerging NAIA program in St. Louis that has been ranked in the Top 20 national rankings throughout the season.
