During the month of February, the NBA All-Star Weekend takes place in which players are selected from each conference based off their performance for the first half of the season. The All-Star starters are what brings the most excitement for the game. In honor of the all-star starter selection, Prep Hoops Nor-Cal would like to feature an “All Under the Radar Team” for each class throughout Northern California. A player from each position will be selected to round up the team. The class of 2021 featured freshman like Salesian’s Houston Mallette, and Napa’s Brock Bowers, while the class of 2020 team featured players like Teinano Hardee and Brahjon Thompson. These are the five juniors that are on the “All Under the Radar Team”.
Miles Amos – Stuart Hall HS PG
Amos explodes to the basket really well and has a great motor. He continues to thrive in big games, and is a very underrated passer and defender. Expect a big summer from him with Bay City AAU Basketball.
Lafayle Fuller – Benicia HS SG
Fuller continues to put up big scoring numbers for the Panthers while leading them into the playoffs. His play down the stretch heading into the playoffs will be critical for Benicia.
Keenami Maggard – Antioch HS SF
Keenami is one of the best jumpers in Northern California, and runs the floor extremely well. He has worked on expanding his overall game as he heads to the next level. Team Select will be competitive this summer in AAU.
Garrett Cason – St. Ignatius HS PF
Cason is another good jumper that runs the floor well and also protects the basket. With senior guards Brandon Beckman and Darrion Trammell graduating this year, expect Cason to have a big senior year.
Emmanuel Adeoye – Salesian HS C
Adeoye has been a working project since he has entered high school but he is showing growth in his junior season. Adeoye does his role well and has excellent size. He could be a high division 2 prospect heading into this summer.
