Player Of The Week choices for 1/22-1/28:
KJ Jenkins (Creekview)- One of the best scorers in the state, this week was no different for Jenkins. The Grizzlies went 3-0 to improve to 20-2 on the season, with Jenkins having performances of 37 points and 29 points in two close victories over South Cobb and Sprayberry.
JD Hull (Darlington)- There may not be many who know of Hull outside of the Darlington community, but he has put together a strong season for the Tigers. Darlington went 2-1 on the week and Hull averaged 22 PPG and 5 RPG in their 3 games.
CJ Abrams (Blessed Trinity)- BT remained perfect in region play this week, with 3 double-digit victories. Abrams had a big week, averaging 25 PPG in the Titans’ game, including a 32-points performance in only 3 quarters against Chestatee.
Jayce Harrison (Fellowship Christian)- Harrison has continued to be a key guy for the Paladins in their solid backcourt. This past week, Fellowship secured two wins and Harrison came through again with performances of 21 points and 19 points.
Broc Bidwell (West Forsyth)- The West Forsyth senior guards played as expected this week but their freshman PG came up big also. Bidwell started the week with 15 points in a huge win over Lambert. Against Forsyth Central, he dropped 20 points and was perfect from the free-throw line in a hostile environment.
