#1 Trinity Christian (15-5)
Key wins: Fayetteville Academy, Village Christian & Freedom Christian.
The Crusaders have yet to lose to a team from the area and will look to continue their winning ways when they matchup with Northwood Temple this week.
#2 Village Christian (11-7)
Key Wins: Fayetteville Academy, New Life Christian.
Key Losses: Trinity Christian, Northwood Temple
The play of Travion McCray and Khuath Gatkuoth has been huge for the guard and they have picked up another star player with the return of Junub Char. If the team can mesh well over the next few weeks, they will have a nice chance at making another NCISAA title run.
#3 Fayetteville Academy (13-9)
Key Wins: Northwood Temple, Freedom, Cape Fear Christian
Key Losses: Village Christian & Trinity Christian
The Eagles have continued their solid play and are a team that is highly favored to win their conference championship. Junior Forwards William Oyeondi & Emmanuel Izunabor have led the way for the squad putting up big time numbers, along with Junior Guard EJ Bethea.
#4 Northwood Temple (12-14)
Key Wins: Village Christian, Freedom Christian, Cape Fear Christian
Key Losses: Fayetteville Academy, Cape Fear Christian
The Eagles have been playing very well as of late with solid production from Ian Steere and Josh Nickelberry winning 5 of their last 6 games.
#5 Freedom Christian (10-10)
Key Wins: New Life Christian, Northwood Temple, Fayetteville Academy
Key Loss: Trinity Christian, Village Christian, Northwood Temple
The Patriots have played much better as of late and will look to may a late push in the conference playoffs. Junior Guard Jamahri Harvey has been the leading scorer for them for a good amount of games lately as well as good production from the bench.
#6 New Life Christian (15-6)
Key Wins: Cape Fear Christian, Fayetteville Christian, Berean Baptist Academy
Key Loss: Village Christian, Freedom Christian
New Life has been struggling as of late and will need to put together a nice late season run as they prepare for their conference, state and national tournaments.
#7 Cape Fear Christian (8-13)
Key Wins: Fayetteville Academy, Northwood Temple
Key Loss: New Life Christian, Freedom Christian, Trinity Christian
Cape Fear has lost two games at the buzzer recently, they compete very hard and will be a team that you don’t want to see once playoff time comes. Isaiah Tatum and Milos Galogaza have been the main players for the squad, both young men are unsigned seniors that schools should be on.
#8 Berean Baptist Academy (15-4)
Key Win: Fayetteville Christian
Key Losses: New Life Christian (2X)
BBA continues to play well, they have a young core and will be dangerous in the future if they continues to work hard.
#9 Fayetteville Christian School (6-12)
Key Losses: Village Christian, New Life Christian, Berean Baptist Academy
Fayetteville Christian has gotten better as the year has gone on, these youngsters are learning and competing hard. Junior Guard Bennett Newman & Wing Daquan Chambers have played well as of late.
