MORSELL CONTINUES TO SHOW SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT
The biggest offensive threat for St. John’s in this game was Casey Morsell, and this really wasn’t even debatable. The highly touted class of 2019 recruit showed a versatile offensive skill set, and the ability to make shots from all over the floor as well as finish inside with either hand in traffic. Morsell came up with one of the best plays of the game when he rejected an opponent’s dunk attempt at the rim.

D LO FLASHES BRILLIANCE FOR SJC
2020 guard DeLonnie Hunt was the standout off the bench for the Cadets. The silky smooth southpaw scored 5 points, including a timely three pointer from the corner in late the fourth quarter. Hunt is a pesky perimeter defender on the ball who consistently gets in the lane and creates for his teammates, but can also put the ball in the whole when asked.
