Berkeley defeated Colleton County 59-47 in a big region game. Trevur Smalls led the way with 23 points for the Stags. Ephraim Butler (2018) added 15 points and DJ Chisholm (2019) 10 points.
The Cougars were led in scoring by Tristian Nieves (2018) with 16 points, Nyeem Green (2018) 13 points and De’iajae Ferguson (2018) 10 points.
Fort Dorchester 54 Stratford 35. The Patriots were led in scoring by Trent Bryant (2018) with 19 points and Antoine Parker (2020) added 12 points.
Ashley Ridge fended off rival Summerville 56-51. Jamal Edmonson (2019) continues his hot ways with 24 points and Kyle Tierney (2018) chipped in with 18 points. Shaquan Davis (2018) led the Green Wave in defeat with 15 points and Johnathan Bennett (2019) 13 points.
Academic Magnet beats Woodland 66-54 in region play. Sharp shooting guard Bryson Rose (2018) led the Raptors with 25 points. Mikel Shuler (2018) led the Wolverines with 12 points in the loss.
James Island 64 Wando 54. Starke Salmons (2018) led the Trojans with 22 points in the victory. Lawton Davis added 12 points while teammate DQ Vinson (2019) added 11 points for James Island.
The West Ashley Warriors improve to 16-2 on the season with a win over Goose Creek 49-44. Marlon “OJ” Hill led the Warriors with 17 points. Skylar Williams and Devin Ramsey both added 9 and 8 points respectively.
The Gators fall to 7-8 on the season were led in scoring by Erick Bennett (2018) with 14 points and Chris Fordham (2018) chipped in with 12 points.
Palmetto Christian Academy moves to 17-1 on the season after blitzing Calhoun Academy 80-39. Maliek Brown (2020) led the way with 21 points.
Porter Gaud beat arch rival Pinewood Prep 87-53 after outscoring the Panthers 21-0 in the first quarter. The Cyclones improve to 16-2 on the season and were led in scoring by Aaron Nesmith with 30 points, Jake Lanford 14 points and Denham Wojcik (2021) chipped in 9 points. Josiah James finished the game with 6 points.
First Baptist defeated a youthful Northwood Academy Chargers squad 69-58. Michel Dukes (2019) led the Hurricanes with 29 points and Devin Dean (2019) added 11 points.
The Chargers got 17 points from freshman guard Caleb Houston and Emmanuel Johnson finished with 14 points.
