Ken Howle has decided to retire after this season from Darlington HS.
Jermel President recently stepped down as the Head Coach at Oceanside Collegiate Academy. President will hold a press conference on Monday. President is a former of College of Charleston player.
Zion Williamson #1 ranked player in the 2018 Prep Hoops Palmetto State Class will make his final decision tomorrow at 8:00 P.M. Williamson plays at Spartanburg Day School.
Robert Braswell will take a visit to Creighton later this month according to Blythewood Head Coach Zeke Washington. Braswell is ranked #6 in the 2018 Prep Hoops Palmetto State Class.
Juwan Gary (2019) Gray Collegiate Academy was offered by University of South Carolina and Head Coach Frank Martin today. Gary has picked up offers this past month from Wake Forest and UCONN.Gary already has offers from Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina State, Texas A&M and UNLV. Gary is ranked #3 in the 2019 Prep Hoops Palmetto State Class.
Marlow Gilmore (2019) has now scored 1,138 career points for the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS Trojans. Gilmore is averaging 19.6 ppg this season. Gilmore a left-handed jumping-jack excels in the transition game and at times plays above the rim. Prep Hoops has seen Gilmore since his freshman season down in Neeses. Mike Green (2019) scored 27 points this past week in a route of Marlboro Academy. Green a left-handed guard became the All-Time leading scorer for the Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach Saints. Green currently now has 1,508 career points. The Saints are currently 9-7 on the season heading into a game vs King’s Academy this evening.
Trey Smith (2019) scored 27 points this week in a game for the Landrum HS Cardinals vs Spartanburg Christian. The Cardinals prevailed 79-66 at the Prep Hoops MLK Shootout at Greenville HS. Smith a left-handed guard became the Cardinals All-Time Leading scorer and currently has 1,793 points.
