Class of 2019 Post Sleepers
Who are some of the sleeper posts in the 2019 class that fly under the radar across Illinois? Here are a few that we feel fit that bill.
PF Chris White (Marian Catholic)
Current Ranking: #40
Travel Team: Meanstreets
White is an athletic and mobile four man that is efficient with his touches on the interior. He has potential to be a force on the defensive end and is just scratching the surface of his offensive upside.
PF Keith Randolph (Belleville West)
Current Ranking: #48
Travel Team: Jets-Ramey United
Randolph is a big and physical post that is incredibly powerful on the interior. The Belleville West big man seems to fly under the radar playing next to Liddell, but he is a legit college prospect in his own right with his ability to be a volume rebounder and score on the block.
PF DeChaun Anderson (Leo)
Current Ranking: #49
Travel Team: Mac Irvin Fire
Anderson is one of the more dominant rebounders in this class. He eats up rebounds on both ends of the floor with his endless motor and tenacity. Quality athlete with strength.
PF Charlie Hoehne (OPRF)
Current Ranking: #50
Travel Team: Made Men
Hoehne is a skilled pick and pop four man that can stretch the floor with his shooting, runs the court well, and flashes ability to get buckets on the block.
PF Pavle Pantovic (DePaul Prep)
Current Ranking: #60
Travel Team: Illinois Wolves
Pantovic is a thick bodied post that plays physical around the hoop, but also has a solid skill level using a variety of post moves to score. Area rebounder.
C Alex Timmerman (Crystal Lake)
Current Ranking: #69
Travel Team: Fundamental U
Timmerman is in the best shape of his career and is primed to make a jump this spring on the circuit. He is a skilled back to the basket post that has quality footwork.
PF Jackson Tanner (Latin)
Current Ranking: #76
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
High skill on the block with an array of hook shots and post moves. Finishes well around the hoop. Challenges opponents at the rim on the defensive end and is an outstanding rebounder.
