Top Wings: Class of 2019
Before the season tips off, we take a look at the top wings from the junior class of 2019. These are individuals who are being recruited at a high level and will hold a strong impact for their teams this season. There are some names that could definently be on this list, but came up short. Check out our Class of 2019 rankings to see the wings that didn’t make it!
PJ Fuller – Garfield, 6’4
Fuller has just moved back to Seattle, following his short time at Mater Dei. He is one of the top 25 players in the country. Fuller gets out quick in transition, finishing plays with high light dunks and quick pull up jump shots. He is a sharp shooter, that can make plays off the dribble. Fuller has a lot of experience and should make noise this season. He’s receiving many D1 inter from schools around the country.
Noah Williams – O’Dea, 6’4
Williams is more of a combo guard now, also running some point and controlling the offense. He plays with high energy and shows great leadership. Williams has developed a more consistent jump shot this off season, making it tough on opponents. He will take a larger leadership role this season. He holds an offer from the University of Washington.
Jamon Kemp – Garfield, 6’5
Kemp is the son of the former sonic, Shawn Kemp. He continues to grow and develop new skills. He’s very athletic, playing above the rim and finishing plays with aggressive dunks! Kemp takes on a bigger role this year, having to score a little more. He holds a couple offers and a lot of interest.
RaeQuan Battle – Marysville Pilchuck, 6’4
Battle is a lights out shooter, who can really get it going on the offensive end. He uses his length on defense to cause deflections and block shots. He plays really well off ball but also runs some point guard, creating plays for teammates. He’s in for a breakout season and should pick up more looks throughout the year.
Cole Bajema – Lynden Christian, 6’5
Bajema is a smooth wing, with a lot of upside. He has a smooth jump shot and plays under control. He can help out on the boards and is developing a tighter handle. He moves really well with out the ball and shows quality leadership. He’s in for a breakout season. Bajema holds and off from the University of San Francisco.
Jorell Saterfield – Garfield, 6’4
Saterfield is a great catch and shoot guy. He moves well without the ball and uses screens pretty good. He does a lot of damage in the mid range area, but can extend out to the arc and knock down shots. He’s becoming a better on ball defender. He’s in for a lot of exiposure this season, playing for Brandon Roy. Saterfield holds some interest but no offers.
