Notebook: Noblesville Holiday Classic
In the sixth annual Noblesville Holiday Classic we will see a few really good teams compete as Broad Ripple, Chesterton, Pike, and Warren Central all have players that can put up points. Warren Central is the favorite to take the crown but Broad Ripple is looking to become the first non-4A school to win the crown. Pike comes in as defending champions looking to defend their crown.
Game 1: Broad Ripple 58, Crown Point 46
Broad Ripple opened up the game with pressure forcing Crown Point into multiple turnovers before they called a timeout. After that timeout, they got their sets corrected and we able to break the press more easily. Crown Point really struggled throughout the game shooting that ball only going 15/51 from the floor. Broad Ripple rode the back of senior Xavier White as he scored 32 points on 10/17 shooting. It was a really impressive game for Broad Ripple as Crown Point kept battling.
