Mr. Everything: The Grind Session
Kyree Walker, Hillcrest Prep
The high adrenaline 6-foot-4 guard is a natural showman out there, with a swagger and entertainment value factor to his game.
The thrill factor mirrors the freakishly athletic Walker’s hard-slashing style that keeps defenders on their heels and guessing.
Scoring the ball in a variety of ways, the bouncy guard averaged 25+ PPG en route to MVP honors of the prestigious Tark Classic in Las Vegas.
Devan Cambridge, Believe Prep Academy
The dazzling 6-foot-6 guard/forward entered the 2017-18 campaign entertaining lofty aspirations as a high-flying, rim to rim athlete.
With a 30-point performance against Tennessee Prep Academy in the Memphis Classic and then a wild, 39-point outburst (on a scalding 14-for-24 clip), the Nashville native has proven himself as a jack of all trades caliber talent.
The Nashville, Tenn. native has been a veritable 3-point assailant who can create his own shot and get his shot off quicker than most at this level. He’s one of the best shot blockers in the country at his size. Cambridge can facilitate the offense and make plays with our without the ball.
High-major prospect is blossoming at the right time.
PJ Person, West Oaks Academy
The well-built 6-foot-2 guard is prolonging a breakout summer with Team Breakdown.
Known more for his defensive tenacity and ability to instigate turnovers, Person does everything from bulldoze his way to the rim to pop 3-pointers to supply timely putbacks.
A calming influence with the ball, Person is an innate facilitator in a lineup rife with gritty guards.
Charles Bassey, Aspire Academy
The powerful 6-foot-10 Class of 2019 Center has spent this season staking his claim as one of the country’s most ferocious finishers.
While he’s notably proficient and monstrous within the confines of the paint, Bassey flashed a component of his game which tends to go under values in his 30-point performance against West Oaks: a reliable 15-18 footer.
Bassey has grown in his multi-dimensional capabilities. Putting the ball in the deck or stepping out to pop a 3-pointer are not aspects out of his wheelhouse as a player.
Joel Ntambwe, Aspire Academy
A finesse player by trade, the 6-foot-8 point guard continues to draw comparisons to Lamar Odom during his Christ The King heyday.
Consistent at getting into the land and finishing with either hand, Ntambwe has the unique skill-set to spark the break fresh off a defensive rebound.
In being able to faciliate offense and feed the post, Ntambwe creates a radiant high-low game with Bassey.
Koreem Ozier, Scotland Campus Sports
While the Wisconsin native was a 30+ PPG scorer in high school and generated major headlines with a 50-point game, Ozier has spent his post-graduate season shedding the label of scorer.
With an adeptness for creating offense and an ability to rebound exceptionally well for a guard, Ozier has made a habit of leaving his fingerprints across all statistical categories.
Getting bigger and improving as an on-ball defender has certainly enhanced his image.
Karim Coulibaly, Scotland Campus Sports
Class of 2019 prospect thrives at scoring through crowds and fending off in-traffic defense to find his shot.
While lefty is proficient in the paint and gets free for tip-ins and point blank finishes, it is Coulibaly’s 3-point shooting and knack for steering big rim protectors away from the rim with his stroke that earns him the “Mr. Everything” tag.
