Prospect Spotlight: Aiden Warzecha (2018)
A college or university looking for an efficient guard who can shoot should be sure to see a Milford High School basketball game this season. That is where they can find Aiden Warzecha.
Warzecha is a 6-3 point guard and shooting guard who has a reputation as a shooter. His game goes well beyond just being a three point specialist. Warzecha is entering his fourth varsity season, so he has a wealth of experience. He’s a floor manager who can find an open teammate and get everyone involved. “I know how the game is really played and have the ability to take over a game,” he said.
Aiden Warzecha showed great improvement over the spring and summer. He played AAU with TEAM Basketball. He benefited from playing against good competition and being surrounded by great players. He’s worked diligently on getting stronger and being physically ready for college basketball.
Aiden Warzecha has a unique approach to this season. He realizes that he has accomplished a lot individually at Milford. Now it’s about his team leaving a legacy. He wants to cut down nets and hang banners. “I want it for this team and I want it for all the former players who created such a great culture for Milford basketball. And I want it for the great community we have in Milford.”
Warzecha is appreciative of his parents for all they’ve done to help him towards his dream of playing college basketball. He doesn’t just want to be a contributor at the next level. Just like at Milford, Aiden Warzecha wants to leave a legacy at the school he plays for. He is eyeing a business major, and is the type of young man who will leave that legacy both on and off the court.
Aiden Warzecha has a lot to offer a program at the next level. He’s a hard working leader who is experienced beyond his years. He has visited Calvin College, Albion College, and Trine University so far. His recruitment should expand and pick up intensity as the season approaches.
