Effix Miller – Swansea HS (pictured on front)
Miller had a big season last year at 20.3 ppg and 7.5 rebounds for the Tigers. Miller enters his senior season with 818 career points. Miller played AAU with the Karolina Khaos.
Mon Quayveous McBride – Fairfield Central HS (Winnsboro)
This one is a mystery to us at Prep Hoops because we can honestly say we have never seen him play before. Sorry.
Zay Hurley – Clinton HS
Hurley helped the Red Devils to a 21-4 season last year. Hurley averaged 12 ppg and 7 rebounds.
Jermaine Patterson – Bluffton HS
Patterson a guard averaged 27.1 ppg last season for the Bobcats in the Lowcountry. Patterson was recently selected to the Shrine Bowl Football Game at Wofford on December 16. Patterson has received a scholarship offer from Newberry (SC) (NCAA D2) for football.
Dominique Perry – Brookland-Cayce HS
Perry a lengthy guard can get downhill and to the rack quickly. The Bearcats leader on the floor is back for another season.
Prep Hoops South Carolina would like to add to this list regardless of classification some other players in Class 3-A to watch this season.
Tuzion Brock (2018) – Southside HS (Greenville)
They really don’t make them any tougher than this kid. Brock is tougher than a $2 dollar steak and just brings in when he plays. Brock will look to lead the Tigers back to the 3-A State Championship Game next March.
Rashane Duncan (2018) – Wade Hampton (Varnville)
Duncan 6’9 plays in the Lowcountry and is actually a AAU teammate with Patterson on Upward Stars Southeast 2018. Duncan long and active is better defensively than offensively. Great length and started his career at Estill HS.
Donovan Belton (2018) – Camden HS
Belton 6’2 left-handed wing type player brings a great energy to the floor. Belton really rebounds the ball well on both sides of the floor and excels in a transition game.
Darius Boatwright (2019) – Dillon HS
Boatwright 6’7 small forward loves to play on the perimeter. Boatwright has 3 point range on his shot can really turn a game over on the defensive end with his ability to block and alter shots.
RJ Campbell (2019) – Southside HS (Greenville)
Campbell is a thick bodied post player for the Tigers. UNC-Greensboro and South Carolina State have already expressed interest in Campbell. Campbell played AAU with Game Elite Black 2019.
