Class 3 Players to Watch
Here is a look at some of the top Class 3 players to watch in the state:
Torrence Watson 6’5″ Whitfield ’18: University of Missouri recruit averaged 29 points a game in leading the Warriors to the Class 3 state championship game in ’17.
Damien Daniels 5’8″ Hogan Prep ’18: Abilene Christian recruit averaged nearly 30 points a game in leading Hogan Prep to a third-place finish in the state tournament.
Jamarr Williams 6’7″ Northwest Academy ’18: Athletic power forward who is one of the state’s premiere rebounders. Led the Hornets to the state championship last season.
Mardareyon Clark 6’4″ Charleston ’18: One of the most improved players in the state last season. He averaged a double-double and put up some big numbers for a district championship team.
Malek Davis 5’10” Cardinal Ritter ’19: Excellent point guard who plays the game with an old soul. Led the Lions to a district championship last season.
Jordan Nesbit 6’5″ Lutheran North ’20: Excellent young wing player who returns after leading the Crusaders in scoring and rebounding as a freshman.
Ian Torrey 6’5″ Portageville ’18: Multi-sport standout who averaged 20 points while playing every position on the floor for Portageville.
