– Not a lot of depth
– Seemed to play defense on important possessions only.
-Lacks production when Harrell and Hopkins aren’t involved.
Overview
The Titans are a prime contender in Class 5A. With two of the best players in the 2018 class, they will be able to compete against any team in the state. They will also gain some more depth after the football season comes to an end. As long as the Titans stay healthy, they will make a big run at the gold ball this season. Hopkins, the Seattle commit, and Harrell will have huge seasons for Carl Albert.
Head Coach Jay Price
What were your thoughts on the Elite 14?
“I was really pleased at our effort. The younger, less experienced players got some good work against good teams. It will pay off for them and us down the road.”
What are some things you saw you want to work on?
“At the top of our things to work on would be being more fundamentally sound on defense. We also need to be more effective with our movement and purpose on offense.”
