Recruiting Report: Jalen Talbott (2018)
Five-foot-11 guard Jalen Talbott of Eaglecrest hopes his senior year leads to several wins and college opportunity.
“This off-season I played AAU Basketball with the Colorado Hawks,” Jalen said. “Junior year was good but I wish to of gotten more exposure.”
Talbott is in the gym on a daily basis improving his all around game.
“I’m spending time in the gym just to get better every day and work on my craft,” Jalen said.
Colbey Ross has moved on to Pepperdine so Eaglecrest is going to need players like Jalen to step in and handle some of the creative scoring load.
“Without Colby this year it is going to be different. But we are still very talented and have a lot to show.”
Jalen wants his team to repeat as champs this winter and earn some attention from college coaches.
“I want to get some college offers and hopefully win state again,” Talbott stated. “Some small schools in Colorado and Concordia in Nebraska are showing interest. I have not planned to make visits yet but I want to.”
