Isaih Moore (2018) has decided to end his recruitment. Moore will stay in state and play at the College of Charleston next season for Head Coach Earl Grant. Moore 6’7 small forward played this summer with Upward Stars Southeast 2018. Moore plays for his dad Shawn Jones at Sumter HS.
Moore is ranked #7 in the 2018 Palmetto State Class rankings this season. Moore was named named Region Player of the Year last season for the Gamecocks. Moore received interest from Colorado State University, East Carolina University, Northeastern University and Stetson University before deciding on the Cougars.
Robert BraswellRobert Braswell (2018) is ranked #6 in the 2018 Palmetto State Class rankings will take a official visit to Charleston Southern University on 10/27 according to Blythewood HS Head Coach Zeke Washington. Braswell 6’9 helped the Bengals to the 5-A State Champinship Game last season.
Juan Perez (2018) West Florence HS has received a scholarship offer from Francis Marion University (SC) (NCAA D2) according to Head Coach Pete Ellis. Perez a post player will have to turn up his game this coming season with the departure of Sharone Wtight Jr and Travion McCray. Perez played a very limited AAU campaign this past summer with the Karolina Khaos.
Next weekend SATURDAY October 28, 2017 is the 3rd Annual Swanny’s Roundball Review Jamboree at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center. 30 Teams in the event (26 prep school and high school teams). Legacy Early College and Heritage Academy (Hilton Head) will be representing the Palmetto State in the high school ranks. The Franklin Program will be playing as a post-graduate program in the event. The event starts at 12:00 P.M. at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center – 8 courts. Plenty of talent in this event – open to the public – Gate Admission $10.00 – College Coach’s Packets available.
