Four 2018 Forwards That Coaches Should Know
There is an array of talent in Michigan’s class of 2018. These are four forwards that I believe high school and college coaches should be aware of. Each of them has the talent to contribute at the next level. Make sure to see how each of these young men display their talents this high school season.
Tariq Woody (Novi)
This kid is a talent. He’s a young man with the height and strength to dominate the post on both ends. He has ball skills that allow him to face the basket on the perimeter and create his own space. With his body build and array of skills, he’s fun to watch and will be at the next level as well.
Josh Perkins (Ypsilanti)
This kid is big and strong. At the high school level, he can bully kids in the paint. In college, his soft hands will be a weapon. He’s fun to watch in a dynamic Ypsilanti offense and has the ability to have a big senior season.
Luke Pfromm (De La Salle)
Luke PfrommThis kid can do it all. He’s got wide shoulders and strength, and can play inside or out. Need a rebounder? He can do that. Need a bucket. He can get it. Need someone to find an open teammate? He’ll find them. He’s a smart young man who is a versatile player. Pfromm will be a great addition to some college program.
Julian Savoury (Belleville)
He is a young man with a big upside. He’s tall and long, making him incredibly tough on the defensive end. He reminds some of Maceo Baston defensively. He has an effective mid-range game and can get easy buckets from put backs. Make sure to keep an eye on his development in 2017-2018.
