Palmetto State : Region 5-AAAAA Players to Watch
Prep Hoops SC takes a gander at Region 5-AAAAA this season. The Blythewood Bengals are coming off a 2nd place finish last season under Head Coach Zeke Washington.
Robert Braswell (2018) – Blythewood HS (pictured on front)
Braswell is back to lead the Bengals to another run to the State Championship Game. Braswell a military kid has received interest from Charleston Southern (Visits 10/27), James Madison, South Carolina State, Old Dominion, Stetson this sprng according to Head Coach Zeke Washington.
Swanny’s Roundball Review first saw Braswell play at the Ice Breaker in North Augusta, SC when he arrived in the Palmetto State. Braswell was playing with the G.W.P. Sixers. Braswell is ranked #6 in the 2018 Palmetto State Class. Braswell played with Team United on the EYBL Circuit this past summer.
Jonathan Breeland (2018) – Blythewood HS
Breeland will lead the way for the Bengals once again this season. Breeland gets into the gaps and plays quick end to end. Breeland ran with the South Carolina Tigers on the AAU Circuit.
Charles “Tre” Jackson (2019) – Blythewood HS
Jackson is one of the best in the 2019 Palmetto State Class. Jackson has already received offers from Coastal Carolina University and Southern Mississippi. Jackson should look to turn it up again this season for the Bengals.
The Bengals suffered a lost in Savion Dawkins transferring out to York Prep this season.
Kerry Eaddy (2018) – Dutch Fork HS
Eaddy a undersized post loves to bang in the paint. Eaddy 6’4 thrives on contact and isn’t afraid to talk it up from time to time. Eaddy a left-handed kid has a soft touch around the rim.
Dutch Fork will have to look to replace Deuce Dean which won’t be a easy task for the Silver Foxes.
Winston Hill (2018) – Irmo HS
Hill 6’7 combo forward is back for legendary Head Coach Tim Whipple. Hill was hampered by the injury bug this summer with the Karolina Khaos. Hill could have a breakout season if he stays healthy.
Naquan Addison (2018) – Spring Valley HS
Addison was just featured in a 6’0 under guard article here on Prep Hoops. Addison should have a breakout season for the Vikings.
Julian Smith (2018) – Spring Valley HS
Smith will play along side Addison in the back court for the Vikings. Smith a left-handed guard really excels in the transition game and plays with a lot of energy. Smith is a great student academically in the classroom. High Academics.
Zach Brabham (2018) – White Knoll HS
Brabham 6’8 plays football for the Timberwolves. Brabham averaged 11 rebounds a game last season.
