Chandler Lindsey- Spartanburg Day (pictured above)
Lindsey has garnered a lot of attention and buzz over the past year as the PG at SDS with Zion Williamson. However, he has gone overlooked when it comes to recruitment and was not receiving publicity like other big names on Sunday. At camp, Lindsey was a blur in the open court and was able to get to the rim whenever he wanted. Lindsey is a superior athlete but he also showed excellent distributing ability and an improved pull-up jumper. He could end up being a steal for a college program.
Randall Litmon- West Ashley
If you were looking for someone to convert inside, Litmon was your guy on Sunday. The physical lefty wing used his strength to overpower defenders around the basket all day long. Litmon was very active in transition as well, where he displayed some impressive athleticism. Litmon also showed some flashes from mid-range at camp, an attribute that will serve him well this season if he continues to work at it.
Kevin Williamson- Aiken
Williamson immediately grabs your attention with his combination of athleticism and energy. The 6’4” wing was all over the court at camp, making plays on both ends of the court consistently. This active approach allowed Williamson to be very productive on Sunday, add in his solid shooting ability and you have a nice prospect.
Andrew Cox- Walhalla
Cox exhibited a versatile skill-set for a post player on Sunday. At 6’8” Cox is effective inside or outside, and utilizes a nice balance of post and perimeter scoring. He has a nice stroke from deep and is very efficient with his outside attempts. Cox is patient when operating in the post, displaying solid footwork, IQ, and dexterity around the rim. His well-rounded offensive game should attract coaches.
Daniel Bateman- York Prep
Bateman is new to the area and has joined the loaded York Prep program. At camp, Bateman proved to be a consistent shooter and was able to create for himself and others off the dribble. He also has some deceptive athleticism to him and rebounded well for a guard. It will be interesting to see what type of role he plays at YPA this season.
