OKC Top 250 Player Evaluations: Morning Session #46-55
The Prep Hoops Top 250 was in Oklahoma City on Sunday. Throughout the week Prep Hoops will have tons of content from the camp. Keep checking PrepHoops.com for content. Player Evaluations will be done for every player that attended the Top 250 camp. Order is based off the number provided at camp. These will be released over the course of the next couple of days.
Garrett Hoffman: 6’3 2018 Forward Weatherford High School
Hoffman is a little bit of an undersized forward, but showed the ability to be able to stretch the floor. He wasn’t too consistent from behind the arc, but was enough that the defense couldn’t leave him open. He did most of his damage from mid-range.
Taylor Hoskinson: 5’8 2018 Guard Woodland High School
Hoskinson is a smaller guard. He excelled at finding open teammates. There were times when maybe he was a little too passive, but for the most part he made the right choices.
Riley Island: 6’2 2018 Guard Calumet High School
Island burst onto the scene last spring taking Calumet all the way to a championship in Class B. He scored 40 points in that game to go along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. He continued to show his versatility at the Top 250 Camp. He uses his length well to get his shot off over most defenders. Island is poised to have a huge year for Calumet.
Nycholas Jackson: 5’11 2019 Guard Mannford High School
Jackson is a quicker guard who displayed a good sense of space. He made the correct pass most every time and was able to set up teammates for east baskets.
Robert Johnson: 6’4 2018 Forward Fort Cobb-Broxton High School
Johnson is a Forward who showed great hustle on the court. He had a nose for the ball winning many 50/50 balls. Johnson scored it well around the rim.
Logan Johnson: 6’3 2019 Guard Chickasha High School
Johnson is a big-bodied guard who was an absolute sniper from behind the arc. He made multiple contested 3’s. Johnson also had a great feel for spacing and was able to move well without the ball.
Travis Jones: 5’10 2019 Guard Union High School
Jones is an extremely quick guard who displayed great court vision. He drove to the lane well and always was able to find the open man when doubled.
