Arizona 2020 Rankings: High Upside Prospects
The class of 2020 features a number of high profile prospects. Many of these prospects are highly sought after due to their length and athleticism. As far as non-top 10 prospects are concerned, here are the ten prospects in the 2020 rankings who have demonstrated having the most upside.

Dominic Gonzalez Dominic Gonzalez 6'3" | SG Ironwood | 2020 State AZ 6’3 PG/SG Ironwood (Team Bayless)
Gonzalez was a skinny, lengthy, and skilled freshman. However, he has gained about 3 inches in height and put on more muscle mass. He was primarily utilized last year as a knock down shooter. He was the leader in 3s made and 3 point percentage at Ironwood last year. However, he looks far more assertive and aggressive off of the dribble. In fact, in two separate games this summer, he scored 20+ points in a row. Gonzalez looks very close to having a break out season.
Osa Ighodaro 6’6 PF Desert Vista (AZ Power)
Osa is far from the complete package at this point. However, he is oozing with upside. He has length and a good feel for the game. He is a monster on the glass and has a knack for winning the 50/50 balls. His size and ability to track loose balls make him attractive as a big. With that said, he has not even touched his peak and will continue to improve with the potential to be a big time prospect.
Kendyl Watson 6’6 PF Paradise Valley
Watson is blessed with athleticism and strength. Despite only being a sophomore, he has good length and is well built. As far as upside is concerned, he has been blessed with a number of things that can’t be coached. In addition to his athletic abilities, he brings a balanced game where he can play on the perimeter and on the block.

Garza is an absolute must for the 2020 rankings in regards to upside. He has improved a lot over the past year. He is ready to play at the varsity level and have a lot of success. One of the things that he has improved is his ability to play some of the 4. His an athletic prospect with a lot of upside due to his versatility and length. The more and more he improves his activity and shoot the basketball consistently from 15 feet and out, the higher his stock will be.
Paul Hayden Paul Hayden 6'5" | SF Sunnyslope | 2020 State AZ 6’4 SG Sunnyslope (Classics)
Hayden is a versatile wing who brings a lot of toughness. He has improved his ability to take defenders off of the dribble. Further, he is not afraid of contact. In addition, he is a knock down shooter who plays with a lot of confidence. He has a high basketball IQ and does a lot of the little things that are necessary to be successful. Hayden has a lot of upside and will blossom into a top tier player in this class due to his size, work ethic, and feel for the game.
