Tariq Nowlin – Marion HS
Nowlin 6’4 has a wiry frame along with good length. Nowlin (2019) can handle the rock and feels very comfortable bringing the ball up the floor.
Sammy Pressley – Mullins HS
Pressley saw good minutes last season for the young Auctioneers. Pressley brings a great energy to floor and plays bigger than his size. Pressley 6’3 rebounds on both ends of the floor. Pressley averaged 8.9 ppg and led the young Auctioneers in scoring. The Auctioneers were in there first year without North Carolina bound Jalek Felton last season.
CJ Gilchrist – Mullins HS
Gilchrist 5’4 water bug point guard . Gilchrist isn’t afraid to pull the trigger on a 20 foot jumper.
Xavier Legette – Mullins HS
Legette played AAU this spring with Big Shots South Carolina 16U with Darius Boatwright. Legette left-handed plays with a great motor and is always in the right position on the rebounding end of the floor or just taking a charge. Legette (2019) really plays the passing lanes well. Legette averaged 3.8 ppg and 5.2 rebounds last season.
Twayne Butler – C.E. Murray HS (Greeleyville)
Butler 6’4 still tends to be growing. Butler (2019) averaged 4.7 ppg and 6.5 rebounds last season for the War Eagles. Butler has a soft touch and knows how to use his body well. Butler keeps the ball up high when rebounding it.
Sheldon Bradley – D.P. Cooper Charter School (Salters)
Bradley was first scene back in late March at a local AAU event with Team Gerald AAU. Bradley 6’5 and just 14 years old will enroll at C.E. Murray HS next fall as a 2021 kid. Bradley alters and challenges shots on the defensive end. Bradley is going to be a player to monitor in the years to come.
Darius “JuJu” Williams – Hemingway HS (pictured on front)
Williams a undersized post player helped the Tigers win 1A SCHSL State Championship last year. Williams scored 16 points in the 72-71 victory over Lewisville. Williams averaged 10.8 ppg and 8.1 rebounds last season. Williams (2019) started the spring playing AAU with the Karolina Khaos. Williams plays TE/OLB on the Tigers football team. Williams recorded 122 tackles last season. Williams has received major college interest on the football field.
Darius Taylor – Hemingway HS
Taylor a starting point guard for the Tigers was named All-State Performer this past season. Taylor averaged 10 ppg and 5 assists last season. Taylor averaged 11 ppg as a freshman. Taylor (2019) will look to lead the Tigers back to Columbia this coming season with the departure of Desmond Pressley.
Mark Parker – Hemingway HS
Parker plays AAU with Karolina Khaos Silver 15U with Sammy Pressley. The Khaos Silver 15 is coached by Sharone Wright Sr. Parker (2020) should have his time to play now more minutes for the Tigers.
