Prep Hoops All DMV, I-495 All Star team, (Washington, DC Suburban) 3rd team.
The Washington, DC, DMV are has the highest rate of D1 players produced in the nation per capita. We are awarding the top players in the Washington, DC DMV I-495 Region, with 5 eleven player All Star teams. The Capital Beltway or I-495, is a 64 mile interstate highway that surrounds Washington, DC. We will compose our All Star teams of those players that attend high schools in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia areas within the I-495 region. As with all of our players who have committed to college we will be following them throughout their college careers and wish them success on and off the court. This is the second team All DMV I-495 / 55 team with 3 more to follow, and another All Star team for players not located in the regions of the Washington, DC DMV & the Baltimore DMV. The All Star teams will be completed by May 14, stay tuned.

Milos Apic, 6’10”, SF, Sandy Spring Friends HS, Silver Spring MD, 2017.
Milos is a very versatile & smooth SF who will play next season at Long Beach State. We will be writing a commitment report for Milos this week.
Jared Bynum, 5’10” PG, Georgetown Prep HS, Rockville, MD, 2018.
Jared is a very strong PG who can score at all 3 levels, facilitate & defend. He is having a very strong spring for the DC Blue Devils 17 & U on the Grassroots Circuit & Jared has signed to play next season for St. Joseph.
Josh Carlton, 6’9.5″, PF, DeMatha HS, Hyattsville, MD, 2017.
Josh has signed to play next season for U Conn and he is a very skilled PF/C with excellent foot work & low post moves with rim protection ability.
Karim Coulibaly, 6’8.5″, PF, St, Vincent Palloti HS, Laurel, MD 2019.
Karim is a ranked in the top 55 nationally & has a very high motor. Karim is having an excellent spring for New Wold on the Grassroots circuit & is excellent in all phases of basketball with the addition of a 3 point shot. We believe Karim has top 30 potential & he currently holds offers from St. Johns, Tulane, DePaul, & Rutgers.
Ayinde Hikim, 5’10”, PG, Wilson HS, Washington, DC, 2018.
Ayinde has 2018 1st Team All Met talent & helped lead Wilson HS to a 29-4 record & legitimate # 3 ranking in the DMV by the Washington Post. He is very explosive, can get to the rim, facilitate & defend. Wilson will be loaded next year and we will be attending many Tiger games.

George Mawanda-Kalema, 6’3″, PG, Episcopal HS, Alexandria, VA, 2017.
George had a great career at Episcopal HS on the hardwood & in the classroom. He will now move on to play for Brown University of the IVY League. He has an excellent pull up game, is a legit floor general & can defend.

Brian Knapp, 6’3″, WG/CG, Jewish Day School, Rockville, MD, 2017.
Brian led Jewish Day School to a 24-3 record averaging 27 ppg. He scored 40 points in Jewish Day’s PVC Title victory over rival Sand Spring Friends & Brian will play next season at Cornell. He is an excellent jump shooter off the dribble & spot-up with very good elevation in addition to getting to the rim. Brian plays very hard and is solid defender with a very high basketball IQ.

Anthony Longpree, 6’9″, WF, Glenelg Country Day HS, Ellicot City, MD, 2017.
Anthony was awarded second Team All Met by the Baltimore Sun. He is best described as a very mobile stretch 4. He has an excellent 3 point shot which he can knock down off the dribble or spot up, and Anthony can score in the mid range. He will play next season at St. Joseph in Philadelphia.

Brandon Slater, 6’6.5″, WG/WF, Paul VI HS Farifax VA 2018.
Brandon is a very athletic wing who is a consensus top 40 player for 2018. He is one one of the best defenders in the DMV with a great wingspan. Brandon can shoot the 3 ball & he is superb in transition as a score or passer. Brandon threw down many highlight tomahawk dunk this season with his great explosion. He holds offers from Maryland, Villanova, Louisville, Syracuse, Temple, USC, Virginia, Virginia Tech & WVU.
Tre Wood, 6’0.5″, St. Johns HS, Washington, DC 2018.
Tre is best described as a pass first PG with excellent facilitation skills & he is an excellent defender. Additionally, Tre can score from all 3 levels and he has numerous D1 offers which include Iowa, George Washington, Hofstra, Old Dominion, Penn State & St. Joseph with interest from Purdue and Virginia Tech. Tre helped lead a very young St. Johns College to a 25-10 record in the very tough WCAC & the Cadets will be one of the best teams in the DMV next season.
Anthony Harris, 6’3.5″, PG/CG, Paul Vl HS, Fairfax, VA, 2019.
Anthony is ranked in the top 65 players nationally for 2019 & was one of Paul VI HS key players this past season. He helped lead the talented Panthers to a 28-6 record and # 5 ranking in the DMV & for most the season ranked nationally. He can play either guard position & his strengths are defending & attacking the rim with a solid mid range & 3 point game. Anthony has numerous offers which include Virginia Tech, George Mason, Old Dominion, UCF & WVU. Next year we expect Paul VI to be a top 40 team in the nation and Anthony once again will have big role.
