MVP
Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree, The 6’8″ 215, Power Forward from Neumann Gorreti HS in Philadelphia, PA will play next season at Villanova. Dhamir shot a perfect 9-9 from he filed and totaled 18 points, 4 rebounds and did not commit a turnover in 20 minutes of action. He looked very chiselled and ran the court superbly. Most of his scoring came in the paint or in transition, and he really establishes himself around the rim. Additionally, he has rim protection skills and blocked 3 shots today. In summary he played a perfect game and is great fit for the Wildcats.
Best Handle
Isaiah Washington is an elite ball handler from St. Raymond’s High School in the Bronx, NY. He is a 6’1″ WG, who in our opinion could play combo. Isaiah made every kind of move off the dribble conceivable, behind the back step backs, crossovers and between the legs step backs and attacked the basket from any location finishing on almost all of his dynamic drives. Many of his dribble moves came in quick bursts one after the other and froze his defenders. Isaiah totaled 13 points with 5 assists and 2 steals. Isaiah will be playing next season for the Minnesota Gophers we feel he could become an impact player for the Gophers.

Best Floor General
Matt Coleman played this season at famed Oak Hill HS and is a University of Texas commit. The 6’1″ 176 lefty pass first point guard is labeled to start next year at Texas and had a stat sheet stuffing game today with 9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Matt can get to whatever location he desires with his crafty ball handling and deliver a dime. He has developed a much improved shot and clearly has a an identity as a player. As would be expected Matt has an excellent basketball IQ and is great commit for the Longhorns.
Best Under the Radar
Collin Gillespie played for Archbishop Wood in Philadelphia and the 6’1″ PG has signed with Villanova. Collin tallied 8 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds with 4 steals and during warm ups displayed an excellent shooting stroke. Today Collin proved he is a superb PG with great vision, passing and ball handling skills, in addition to a fantastic basketball IQ. Collin really came on late this season and Villanova is getting a fantastic PG.
Best Rebounder
Bourama Sibide is a 6’10”, 225 center from St. Benedict’s Prep in New jersey who will attend Syracuse. Bourama is a long versatile in the paint center with a great wingspan. He scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds today and is a force in the low post. He is an excellent rebounder and uses his length and athleticism to hit the glass. We have seen Bourama shut down the paint this year with his shot blocking skills, and today he displayed a very good 15 to 18 foot jumper. We feel Bourama is a huge sleeper in the 21017 class and is constantly developing, but he is already an excellent post player.
Best WG
Brandon Randolph is a 6’6″ athletic WG who may be still growing. He played on a loaded Westtown HS team this year in Pennsylvania. Brandon will play next season at Arizona and while he is a top 35 player in the nation, we feel his stock is going up. He was the games leading scorer with 22 points and hit two 3 pointers. He has great length and can closeout at the the rim with dunks or drain a 3 off the dribble. He uses his great size at times he can not be guarded.
Best intangibles
Darryl Morsell is a 6’5″ WG from Mt. St. Joseph HS in Baltimore, MD and a University of Maryland commit. He is very tough ball player with a junk yard dog mentality that teams love to have on their roster. Darryl tallied 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. He is an excellent defender with his wingspan and can play bully ball in the paint with his powerful frame. Several times Darryl just overpowered players to score or rebound, and while he does not shoot much from outside he has good shot mechanics. In transition he is great at either exploding to the rim, or finding an open teammate.
Best Rim protector / Defender
Brandon Huffman is a 6’10”, 250 pound center who played for Word Of God High School in NC and is committed to North Carolina. Brandon totaled 5 rebounds and his 7 blocks and had a very big impact on the game. Brandon appears to be a traditional low post center and is an important piece to UNC’s under the radar 2017 class. He is ranked #4 in our North Carolina rankings and has very, very good upside. Brandon has a clear identity as a low post center and we feel could become a superb shot blocker in the ACC.
Best Physical Prospect
Bruno Fernando, is a 6’10”, 250 pound center from IMG Post Grad team in Brandenton, Florida who will play at the University of Maryland next season. Bruno could be the best kept secret for the 2017 recruiting class in the nation. He had a lights out practice on Friday and turned everyone’s heads. However, he was held out of today’s game for precautionary measures. Bruno has the perfect physique, displaying power, leanness and length. In summary Bruno has the potential for greatness.
Best Surprise Player
Goanar Mar is a 6’7″ WF from Minneapolis and will play neat year at George Mason University. Goanar is well known by Minnesota Prep Hoops and is ranked #6 in the state. He looked like a very solid player who should help GMU a great deal, but our Minnesota Prep Hoops will help us out for a more thorough evaluation. However, in our opinion Goanar could become a major factor the Patriots much sooner than later.
Special Mention
Chaundee Brown Jr. has committed to Wake Forest University and the 6’5″ WG from The First Academy HS in Orlando must be mentioned. Chaundee scored 10 points, dished out 3 assists, and collected 2 rebounds and had 1 steal. He was the model for consistency and we feel he will be a great addition to the Demon Deacons and possibly see very early playing time.
