The Class A All State Team
First Team All State
Tayton Vincent, Sioux Valley (6-3, senior PG). MVP. Our Class A Player of the year is headed to Augustana after a fantastic senior year that included several clutch moments.
Ethan Freidel, Tea Area (6-1, senior SG). The Class A State Tournament MVP saved one of his best performances for his last game where he led Tea Area to the state title.
Aaron Fiegen, Madison (6-6, junior, PF). Madison’s top all around player and very skilled talent. Fiegen was first team Dak12 and the top scorer and rebounder on a top Class A team.
Seth Friesz, Chamberlain (6-1, senior SG). Friez was among the top scorers in the state and he led his team to the state tournament again with outstanding playoff performances.
AJ Plitzuweit, Vermillion (6-2, junior SG). The addition of AJ to South Dakota high school basketball added another recruitable talent to the ranks, one that averaged 24 a game scoring in many ways.
Second Team All State
Noah Freidel, Tea Area (6-4, sophomore SF). Noah is right now the most recruitable sophomore talent in the state of South Dakota and an all around performer of the state champ.
Koln Oppold, Sioux Falls Christian (6-4, junior SG). Oppold led the Chargers in scoring as an inside/out threat.
Cooper Williams, Vermillion (6-0, senior PG). One of the most dependable lead guards in the state and a high character leader.
Will Steineke, Tri-Valley (6-5, senior PF/C). Battled his way to double-doubles pushing Tri-Valley to a fantastic end of the year.
Robert Rosenquist, Dakota Valley (5-11, senior SG). Call him the giant killer or call him clutch, Robert put together a late season run that had DV in the state title knocking off some of the state’s best.
Third Team All State
Dejay Fykstra, Sioux Falls Christian (6-6, senior SF). Key player on both ends for the Chargers.
Dylan LeBrun, Flandreau (6-6, junior, SG). One of the toughest match-ups in state.
Devin Rihanek, Mt Vernon/Plankinton (5-11, senior, SG). The Spirit of Su winner.
Gus Reede, Aberdeen Roncalli (6-2 junior SG). One of the deadliest shooters out there.
Jayden Burgraff, Tri-Valley (6-3 senior SG). One of the hardest workers in the state.
Fourth Team All State
Mason Leighton, Madison (6-1, senior PG).
Jeffrey Schuch, Dell Rapids (6-5, junior SF).
Tayton Maher, St. Thomas More (6-2, senior G).
Sheldon Siemonsma, Dell Rapids (6-5, senior SG).
Isaac Kortemeyer, St. Thomas More (6-8, senior C).
Trevor Hanson, Sioux Valley (6-7, junior C).
Jacob Prouty, Clark/Willow Lake (6-1, sophomore SG).
