Class A All State Team
The North Dakota Class A All State Team has been named from PHD now that Minot has earned their third straight state title.
First State
Aanen Moody, Dickinson, Sr. The easy pick for player of the year scored 31 plus a game and pushed the Midgets to a 23-4 record and a third place finish at state. All time scoring leader in Class A history.
Siman Sem, Fargo North, Sr. The EDC Player of the Year put up 23 points, 10 boards, and five assists a game. Great year despite dealing with an injury setback that forced Siman to miss games.
KyJuan Johnson, Minot, Sr. PG of the three time state champion Minot squad, KyJuan scored 17 points a night and was among the Class A leaders in assists and steals.
Jake Paper, Fargo Davies, Sr. Scored 19 points a game and easily led the state in rebounding by nearly three boards a contest. Led the Eagles to a 25-2 record.
Justin Engg, Minot, Sr. A starter for a three time state champ, Engg was a key player on all three of those teams. Engg scored 17 a game, was the third leading rebounder in the WDA, and 5th in the WDA in assists.
Second Team
Matt Veit, Fargo Davies, Sr. Scored nearly 18 points a game and was second in the state in assists per game.
Joe Pistorius, West Fargo, Jr. Was fantastic at state and scored 20 points per game for the Packers.
Trae Steckler, Mandan, Jr. Fourth leading scorer in the state, led the WDA in rebounding.
Jordan Meidinger, Dickinson, Sr. Scored 14 a game, led the state in blocks, second in the WDA in boards.
Jacob Mertens, Devils Lake, Sr. State producer had 20 points, six boards, and five assists a game.
Third Team
Josh Sipes, Bismarck Century, Jr. Top player on a balanced state runner-up.
Mark Toe, GFRR, Sr. Breakout year averaging 17-18 a game and defending tough.
Jake Kava, Fargo Shanley, Jr. Kava was the state’s third scorer.
Cole Gendreau, St Mary’s, Jr. Third in scoring in the WDA and led the conference in assists.
Jordan Polynice, GFRR, Jr. Scored 13.5 points and collected over seven boards a night.
Fourth Team
Zach Dahlen, Devils Lake, Sr. Scored 16-17 points a contest.
Jake Reinholz, Fargo Shanley, Sr. Scored 17-18 a night and turned some heads.
Camren Steckler, Mandan, Jr. Gave his team 17 and 6 playing with Trae.
Chase Erickson, WF Sheyenne, Sr. Top Mustang with 15 points a game.
Peyton Lamoureux, Minot, Sr. Gave Minot a third scoring option to deal with.
Fifth Team
Lucas Mayer, Bismarck Century, Sr. Scored, boarded, swatted.
Austin Wolf, Bismarck Legacy, Jr. Made all WDA tournament.
Joe Jahner, Bismarck, Soph. Great postseason.
Simon Haboniman, West Fargo, Sr. Did some of everything including leading.
Carter Bonnema, WF Sheyenne, Sr. Uber tough.
Kalen Johnson, Fargo South, Jr. Led state in assists per game.
