Cameron Krutwig (Jacobs)
One of the best performances we have seen all year. The Loyola commit was a beast against the top junior center in the state. Krutwig had 20 points, 19 rebounds, 15 blocks, and 8 assists in their 62-39 win over Larkin.
Mark Smith (Edwardsville)
The favorite for every statewide player of the year award went off showing central and northern Illinois fans in Ottawa what all the buzz is about! He dropped 45 points and grabbed 12 boards against Danville as Edwardsville rolled to a 81-59 win.
Yaakema Rose (Springfield Lanphier)
The senior leader for Lanphier was phenomenal against Champaign Central in the sectional semi. He had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 steals in their win.
Ayo Dosunmu (Morgan Park)
The top 2018 prospect in the state had a big week to help his team capture the sectional title. He closed it off with 29 points, 7 assists, and 12 rebounds in a win over St. Rita on their home floor.
Marcus Garrett (Hillcrest)
The Hillcrest star uncommitted scoring guard did what he does best which is put the rock in the hole against Rich Central. He had 37 points to win the sectional crown.
