Recruiting Report: Anthony Lynch (2018)
Larkin 6’3” 2018 shooting guard Anthony Lynch brings the ability to score off the bounce to the table. Really has improved his handles over the last year. Slippery through traffic getting to the hoop. Slightly above average passer for an off guard. Can hit a mid-range pull up. He has really stepped up this year in absence of their star Christian Negron. Potential D2 prospect.
Lynch spoke about his first season at Larkin after transferring from South Elgin.
“I think I played pretty well. Coach Carter is on me a lot. He gives me a lot of confidence. He tells me he wants me to be aggressive.”
When his game is rolling what does he bring to the table?
“I feel my strengths are in transition. This team likes to get the ball out and go. I feel like pushing the ball up I do a pretty good job attacking. If they stop me I can dish it off for a layup.”
He gave us an update on his recruitment heading into the spring.
“I have been talking to Western Illinois, Northwood University, Monmouth College, Bemidji State, Lewis University, and Toccoa Falls College.”
