Jack Davidson – 6’0 | PG | Hamilton Southeastern
Jack is a solid lead guard who brings some toughness and offense with him. He’s shooting 59% from behind the arc this season on 54 attempts. He’s doing that in a buried lineup full of talent and not a full game’s worth of minutes. His brother, Eric, was one of the best shooters in the state his senior year and Jack is trying to do the same. 3FG: 31/54 – 59%
Hunter Hollowell -6’6 | SF | Huntington North
While everyone wants a shooter, to have one that stands 6’6 and can play multiple positions at the next level is just a huge bonus. Hollowell might be a little thin but his range is anywhere in the half-court and he’s shooting 42% with over 120 attempts this season. He’s a pure shooter and could make an impact at the right school next season from the jump. 3FG: 54/129 – 42%
Nathan Walpole – 5’11 | SG | Whitko
Walpole has continually put up big numbers since he hit the varsity roster at Whitko and his bread and butter is his three-point shot. He’s not the tallest guard and probably a little more suited playing as a combo guard but when you shoot 48% from three with over 100 attempts, you will find playing time pretty easily. He’s still a bit under-recruited right now but could provide a spark to a recruiting class. 3FG: 51/107 – 48%
Mark Albers – 6’4 | SF | Pendleton Heights
Finding size on the wing is a little tough in this class but shooters who can play on the wing is a little easier. Albers is a solid 6’4 wing that when hot, can really light it up. Fits in well for teams that do need some size with shooting and his high academics make him an even easier take for most non-DI programs. He isn’t even having his best season and he is still shooting 38% from behind the arc. – 3FG: 46/120 – 38%
Eddy Collins – 5’11 | SG | McCutcheon
Eddy is one of those guards that can just get hot and not stop. He’s shown that this season for McCutcheon and he’s had some big games, even outscoring his teammates, Robert Phinisee and Haden Deaton. Not the biggest guard but plenty capable of creating his own shot and willing to pull up from well beyond the three-point line. 3FG: 39/87 – 45%
Jack Ferguson – 6’2 | SG | Homestead
Jack has really strengthened his case for one of the best under-the-radar players in the case with his play this season. He’s been a leader for Homestead in many ways and one of the biggest is his ability to shoot the ball. He can play as a scoring point guard for a non-DI program and could impact early on in his career. He’s got some swagger to him and continues to show he is the best player on the floor in almost every game he plays. – 3FG: 39/101 – 39%
Deon Moore – 6’1 | CG | Gary Roosevelt
Deon Moore is one of the more intriguing players still on the board with his size and ball handling ability, he could be a steal for a team. He hasn’t been a big offensive weapon to this point in his career but he is shooting 56% from three with over 60 attempts this season. Could be a guy that plays the point in college and that offense would go a long way to giving him a long, successful career. – 3FG: 35/63 – 56%
Tim Abel – 6’1 | CG | Indian Creek
Abel started off his junior season really showing that he can be a good scoring guard for Indian Creek. It has now progressed to the point where he is averaging more than 16 points per game and shooting 47% from the field. Abel will be able to play on or off the ball at the next level but wherever he plays, he’s proven that he has the offense in his game to be a productive player. – 3FG: 34/72 – 47%
Nick Mantis – 6’2 | SG | Lowell
Mantis has helped to turn Lowell into one of the best teams from the Region the last two years. He’s not the most athletic wing of this group but what he does is score and do it really well. He’s your prototypical two-guard with a good shooting stroke and even capable a bit of scoring off the bounce. He’s still looking for his first offer but shouldn’t have any issues at the end of the day. – 3FG: 33/75 – 44%
Don Brewer – 6’0 | PG | Indianapolis Northwest Homeschool Warriors
Every year for the last half decade, Indiana has been able to produce a solid homeschool prospect that has made his way onto a college roster. This year, Don Brewer should be the guy. He’s a solid point guard who is putting up a ton of points, although the talent difference is quite vast. However, shooting 45% with 185 attempts from three can’t be denied. He’s a proven shooter with the academics to boot. – 3FG: 83/185 – 45%
