Grant Pedigo – 6’5/SF/2017 – Franklin Central – Pedigo is a long, lanky forward who continues to show how versatile of a scorer he can be. He is really effective in the mid-range when he is locked in. He’s pretty athletic and long and he can cut and slash to the rim or even put the ball on the floor at the high post and make a play. His mid-range jumper is really solid and he’s gotten better with his right hand hook. When he is locked in, he has the potential to be an impact guy at the next level, just want to see the consistency from game to game. Grant had 20 points on 9/15 shooting as well as 9 rebounds.
Jake Cerbone – 6’4/SG/2017 – Franklin Central – Cerbone is a tall guard that can contribute in all areas of a stat sheet. He’s got great size on the perimeter and will play in the paint making runs on back cuts or crashing the boards. His size allows him to defend multiple positions and showed he can do a good job on bigger wings and forwards. Decent jump shooter on the wing and while he won’t take many shots, he’s fairly efficient. He adds more value for the things he does away from the ball and on defense. Jake finished with 15 points on 6/11 shooting to go along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Jordan Harris – 6’0/PG/2017 – Indianapolis Lighthouse – Harris is a strong lead guard with an offensive game. He’s really improved his perimeter jumper and while he still has to find those times to reel it in, when he gets hot he can rip off two or three in a row. He’s not an ideal lead guard because he’s a little more focused on scoring the ball but in a system that has more talent around him you could see him improve because he does pass the ball decently well and has good vision. Harris had 31 points on 11/28 shooting, 5/13 from three. He also had 5 assists and 4 rebounds.
Grant Smith – 6’4/SG/2017 – Connersville – Smith started off the game really strong, scoring 11 points really quickly with a big breakaway dunk and then a catch-and-shoot three. The best part was later in the game when Tindley was making a run, Smith was able to play a lot stronger in the post because of Tindley’s lack of size and he went to work grabbing 14 rebounds, 5 on the offensive end and converted those into some easy points at the free throw line. He scored 21 points on 6/13 shooting as well as dishing out 7 assists and 4 steals. In the last two games, he has shown he can be productive in a slowed down style and now he put up big numbers in a fast paced, more physical game. His ability to produce with consistency regardless of the style is an underrated aspect of his game.
Beau Isaacs – 6’3/SF/2017 – Connersville – This was a game that really showed what Isaacs could be at the next level. He was about as good as he could be shooting the ball and scoring on the low block. He shoots just enough and plays faced up a good amount of time that you have to honor him on the perimeter. But, then he will play inside and is such a load that when he catches the ball on the block you can’t stop him. While undersized, he’s pretty effective and produces well enough. Would like to see him do this again against a legit big man. He scored 19 points on 6/11 shooting.
Michael Green – 5’10/PG/2017 – South Bend Adams – Green is a lightning quick guard that can lead a team in an uptempo style of play. He loves to push the ball up the floor and beat the defender down where he can grab more of an advantage. He was good in the latter part of the game when he was trying to counter attack. He does know how to score as a smaller guard at the rim, using his body to shield and his length to finish.
Te’Shan Godwin – 5’9/PG/2017 – South Bend Adams – Godwin is a small guard who plays quick and does really well slipping into the lane and making a play. Did a great job in the second half scoring at the free throw line because every time he took the ball in the paint he was fouled. His jumper was solid in this one, showing he could shoot from deep. He didn’t have a FG that wasn’t a three pointer, going 4/7. He also shot 6/8 from the free throw line. He scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
