Here we break down the top available post players and their projected college level in our look at the power forwards and centers.
PF Manny Patterson (Kenwood)
Patterson is the top uncommitted post on the board with his chiseled frame at 6’7” and broad shoulders. Quality area rebounder and good post defender. Multiple low-major D1’s are in pursuit.
C Joey St. Pierre (Richmond Burton)
St. Pierre has been off the radar after missing most of last high school season and about half of the travel team circuit. You can’t teach 6’9” with his size. Area rebounder that can score on the block on occasion. Low-major big.
PF Collin Stallworth (Rochester)
Stallworth is an underappreciated prospect. At 6’5” he is a big time athlete with broad shoulders and strength. When he is aggressive on the boards he can grab them in volume. Runs the floor and is developing some perimeter skill. High D2 prospect.
PF Taylor Bruninga (Illini Bluffs)
Skilled four man that broke out in July. 6’6” power forward can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting and is a solid rebounder. High D2 player.
C Addison Lubert (St. Viator)
Lubert is going to have a monster year with his 6’9” height and skilled low post game. Look for him to establish himself as a priority D2 prospect this season.
PF Lenell Henry (Morgan Park)
Athletic and long power forward that runs the floor, rebounds, and blocks shots. Sneaky productive prospect. Needs to be on more D2 radars.
PF Tee’Aaron Powell (Marian Catholic)
Skilled four man with 6’7” frame that he can continue to add strength. Little mechanical at times, but when he is on can really go to work. Has multiple D2’s looking at him.
PF Cameron Gross (OPRF)
Thick bodied 6’5” post that has great mobility for his size. Rebounds well in his area and scores on the block. D2 prospect.
PF Kevin Williams (Rantoul)
Strong left handed power forward that is physical down in the paint. High D3/NAIA big man.
PF Justin Bottorff (Quincy Notre Dame)
Bottorff had a great July with Quad City Elite showing his ability as a face up four man that works well out of the high/mid-post area. Priority D3/NAIA.
PF Nathan Scott (Neuqua Valley)
Long and rangy 6’6” combo forward with upside after emerging on the radar in July with Chicago Lockdown. D3/NAIA.
PF Justin Brown (Marist)
Legit size at 6’8” with a solid build. Flashes offensive potential around the basket. High D3 prospect with a shot to be a D2 player.
PF Malik Binns (Bolingbrook)
Binns is a 6’5” undersized and physical four man that mauls people on the glass. Loves getting on the offensive glass for second chance points. Game changer at the D3 level.
PF Brandon Lawani (Bolingbrook)
The 6’7” long and rangy four man rebounds well both in and out of his area. Becoming a more efficient low post scorer. Priority D3 prospect with D2 upside.
C Anthony Cameron (Hyde Park)
Big bodied 6’9” center that has a huge frame. Upside, but is still fairly raw. High D3.
C Alex Filo (Neuqua Valley)
Wide shouldered post that flashes potential, but is not there consistently. D3/NAIA big man.
PF Dolapo Olayinka (Mather)
Undersized 6’4” power forward that is a beast outworking bigger opponents on the glass. Great D3/NAIA prospect.
