Really ike what we saw from Landon as he displayed some gritty play. Landon is a physical player that does not really get bothered by the contact that he gets or the contact he creates down low on the blocks. He is finishing through that contact and his movement and activity on the glass is solid. Really like the way he can get a rebound and use the rim to protect himself while he is putting those layups back up. Strength on the boards and he gets that ball out of his hands quickly and can move up and down the floor.
Isaac was getting high junior year started out in Utah as his team normally travels to Utah to play in the Corner Canyon Tournament of champions and they got out to a great start as his team beat a good young team that has some length in orem high school that is located in Utah County. isaac got off to a great start as he was fronted early and he gave his guards great targets and he was feed and he made quick work of a few easy lays. Then he stepped out a bit and showcased his jumper. The best part of his game was seeing him share the ball and kick out to open shooters. Isaac had a great stat line as he was racking up rebounds and assist to go along with double figures. Even blocked a few shots as well. Impressive open floor lob that he was able to bring down.
20 points and 17 rebounds there really is no better way to get the season started as Sawyr was on a tear last night as he was everywhere. He was just active and putting in work. He was scoring all over the floor and that big 6’6 frame really caused some issues defensively and he took full-advantage of that.
Great first game as Kobe was handling the ball and he was also hitting from the perimeter. Kobe was making things happen at all three levels on the offensive end and when his team is hitting from the outside it allows him a better opportunity to get into the paint and finish at the rim. he was hitting open jumpers and was one of the players on the flor that really took charge of controlling the tempo. Really like Kobe’s game to translate to the next level.
