Continue ReadingUp from No. 68: Daniel continues to climb. The long lefty has found his niche as an inside-out swingman that can score from all three levels. He’s a good three-point shooter and a versatile defender that can jump into passing lanes and can help defend around the rim. Evan passes the eye-test.
Highlights
Up from No. 53: A prolific scorer, Holloway has shown he can do more than just put the ball in the basket. He has embraced the role as a playmaker able to weave through the defense and locate the open man. When Jeremiah calls his own number, he has deep three-point range and is explosive to the rim strong enough to absorb contact downhill.
Up from No. 78: You can’t teach height. After a missed junior season McFarlande has made up for lost time as an intimidating rim protector that’s starting to find his identity on offense. He’s been quickening his feet and is developing a consistent low post game.
Up from No. 84: McPherson has the strength to bang inside and score in the post but also has a consistent outside shot from the mid-range and out to the three-point line. He can cause mismatches as a tweener with a high-motor.
Up from No. 79: Lincoln Memorial signed the high-octane two-guard after he emerged over the summer as a stock riser. Boyd is a talented slasher that can score in isolation settings, getting his shoulders past defenders and able to finish through contact.
Up from No. 101: At 6-foot-7, Orlovic is an interesting prospect. He is comfortable playing on the wing as a floor spacer with a dangerous three-point shot. Kenan can also attack from the high post and the block. Orlovic has experience handling against pressure and will continue to improve his creativity.
