Let’s recap by highlight some of the top individual performances along with a quick recap of some of the top games.
- The Loogootee Tournament tipped off early Saturday morning featuring some of the best Class 1A teams in the state. Loogootee took down Evansville Day School 75-46 in the first semifinal game. Peyton Bledsoe Peyton Bledsoe 6'4" | SF Loogootee | 2023 State IN and Isaac Eagle paced the Lions with 12 points a piece in a balanced effort while Tyler Myers Tyler Myers 5'11" | PG Evansville Day | 2023 State IN poured in 25 in the loss for Day School. In the second semi-final, featuring Class 1A #1 Evansville Christian and #8 Liberty Christian, Josiah Dunham Josiah Dunham 6'0" | PG Evansville Christian | 2024 State IN scored 24 points to lead the Eagles to a convincing 77-60 victory. Eric Troutman Eric Troutman 6'1" | PG Liberty Christian | 2023 State IN had 19 points in the loss for Liberty Christian. In the third place game, Tyler Myers Tyler Myers 5'11" | PG Evansville Day | 2023 State IN scored 35 points to lead Evansville Day to an impressive 74-72 victory. The high scoring guard is now 40th on Indiana’s all-time scoring list. In the night cap, #1 Evansville Christian beat host #2 Loogootee 60-51 to win the championship of the tournament. Junior point guard Josiah Dunham Josiah Dunham 6'0" | PG Evansville Christian | 2024 State IN had his second 24-point performance of the day in the win.
- At the Gobbler Games hosted by Rose-Hulman, Central Florida signee Joey Hart Joey Hart 6'5" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2023 State #214 Nation IN (Linton-Stockton H.S. 2023) scored 26 points to lead the Miners 76-44 over Northview.
- Trey Buchanan Trey Buchanan 6'0" | PG Westfield | 2024 State IN (Westfield H.S. 2024) led the Shamrocks to a 47-39 win over Class 4A Top 10 Kokomo in their season-opener. Alex Romack Alex Romack 6'6" | PF Westfield | 2023 State IN (Westfield H.S. 2023) added 13 points and 5 rebounds while Sam Bishop Sam Bishop 6'2" | SG Westfield | 2023 State IN (Westfield H.S. 2023) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. 6’9″ 5-star center Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN (Kokomo H.S. 2024) had 16 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.
- Camden Craig Camden Craig 6'4" | SF Switzerland County | 2025 State IN (Switzerland County H.S. 2025) scored 46 points in a 89-70 win over Austin.
- Jackson Mcgee (Leo H.S. 2024) poured in 32 points to go with 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the Lions 74-67 overtime win over South Side. Trey Hiteshew (Leo H.S. 2024) added 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.
- In a battle between the preseason Class 2A #1 team and the defending Class 2A state champions, Brownstown Central came out on top 81-71. Jack Benter Jack Benter 6'4" | SG Brownstown Central | 2024 State #121 Nation IN (Brownstown Central H.S. 2024), a Purdue commit, scored 29 points. In the loss for Providence, Noah Lovan Noah Lovan 6'3" | PG Providence | 2024 State IN (Providence H.S. 2024) led all scorers with 30 points.
- Jaron Tibbs Jaron Tibbs 6'4" | SF Cathedral | 2023 State IN (Cathedral H.S. 2023) scored a game-high 26 points to go with 7 assists and 5 steal in Cathedral’s 95-45 blowout over Jeffersonville. Michigan State signee Xavier Booker Xavier Booker 6'11" | PF Cathedral | 2023 State #4 Nation IN (Cathedral H.S. 2023) added 18 points and 9 rebounds for the Irish. Mercer bound Jake Davis Jake Davis 6'6" | SF Cathedral | 2023 State IN also finished with 18 points.
- Gary 21st Century took down George Washington 64-28 paced by senior point guard Ashton Williamson Ashton Williamson 6'2" | PG Gary 21st Century | 2023 State #287 Nation IN who finished with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, and 5 steals.
- Isaac Andrews Isaac Andrews 6'1" | SG Wapahani | 2024 State IN (Wapahani H.S. 2024) surpassed the 1,000 career point milestone in a 45-36 win over Pendleton Heights.
- Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN (Fishers H.S. 2025) led the Tigers to a 70-55 win over LaPorte scoring 31 points while collecting 8 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists.
- Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN (Heritage Hills H.S. 2025) scored 28 points in a 67-63 win over North Harrison.
- Treigh Schelsky Treigh Schelsky 6'0" | PG Parke Heritage | 2026 State IN (Parke Heritage H.S. 2026) had his second straight 20+ point performance to begin his high school career scoring 24 in a 65-49 win over Owen Valley at the Gobbler Games.
- Tri-West was led by junior guards Max Robertson Max Robertson 6'1" Tri West | 2024 State IN and Drew Miller Drew Miller 5'11" | PG Tri-West | 2024 IN , who scored 21 and 20 points respectively, but fell 75-59 to Plainfield.
- Baris Moore (Taylor H.S. 2026) scored 22 points in his second ever high school game to take down Maconaquah 73-68.
- Braiden Hogg Braiden Hogg 6'1" | PG Richmond | 2024 State IN (Seton Catholic 2024) scored 21 points while Mason Harvey (Seton Catholic 2024) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in a 64-43 win over Centerville.
- Ben Davis was led by sophomore guard Mark Zackery Mark Zackery 6'0" | PG Ben Davis | 2025 State #398 Nation IN IV with 18 points in a 68-54 win over Zionsville. It was the Giants second win over a Top 5 opponent to start the season. Valparaiso bound Zane Doughty Zane Doughty 6'8" | C Ben Davis | 2023 State IN was excellent once again contributing 16 points and 9 rebounds while Sheridan Sharp Sheridan Sharp 6'2" | PG Ben Davis | 2023 State IN added 14 points and 5 assists.
- Jordan Lomax Jordan Lomax 6'3" | SG Brownsburg | 2024 State IN (Avon H.S. 2024) finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the Orioles 68-54 win over Mooresville.
