There are plenty of underclassman who could’ve been included in this list. These players are from the 2024 and 2025 classes.
Elijah is great off the first dribble. He always makes a strong first move to either create a shot for himself or his teammates. He attacks the rim well, always going up strong for the finish. He excels off the pick and roll, being able to read the defense and know what to do next. He shoots well from deep but really standouts when he puts the ball on the floor. Kamiak will be a talented team and Elijah will look to play a big role.
Anthony is new to this Shorecrest team but he will bring many, many valuable assets with him. The most obvious one being his shooting ability. I wish i could explain how beautiful Najera’s shot is. His release is extremely quick, he can get the shot off before the defender is able to close out. His range is deep, he can hit shots maybe 5 feet behind the 3 point line with ease. He’s a lot more than that too, he plays defense with a ton of energy and puts the ball on the floor really well.
Bo is a player who is going to start the season off hot and maintain it throughout this year. This will surprise a lot of people but his potential in my eyes is very high. He could easily be ranked in the top 100 come halfway through the season. He is very athletic and lengthy. He uses his body really well when driving to the bucket, being able to shield the ball and defender to get the bucket. He finishes good through contact when driving too. His shot is consistent as he can hit the mid-range shot with ease and can pull from deep too. Keep an eye on this 2024 guard.
Leyton showed a lot of bright spots as a freshman last year, which is why he’s ranked in the top 20 within the 2025 class. Over the summer I’ve witnessed more growth in Martin’s overall game. His ball handling is tighter, as he can keep control well. He excels at the pull up mid-range jumper, being able to elevate over the defenders for the shot. He facilitates the offense good being able to read his teammates and the defenders well so he can know where to pass the ball. He’s going to have a big season for Arlington.
