6-foot-3 Avion Jackson led the Eagles in scoring throughout the night finishing with 18 points with 8 coming in the fourth. Jackson proved to be an all-around jumpshooter who scored well within the flow of the offense with a quiet and efficient performance showing a fast release off his fingertips and the wherewithal to shift or fill a spot while staying squared with the basket and shot ready at all times. Jackson’s free-throw shooting at the tail end of the game was huge for Atascocita, allowing his team to maintain the lead or keep the upper hand which resulted in the Eagles getting the final possession to finish off the game and drain the clock.

This sharpshooter put his great shooting potential on full display as he drained shots with a sniper quick catch and shoot release. Martinez showed a dangerous ability to light it when coming around a screen, catching and firing all in one single motion with picture perfect mechanics to go alongside his incredibly fluid follow through. Luke Martinez contributed as a trustworthy shooter, he even made two big free-throws consecutively at the 5 minute mark of the fourth quarter to bring the hard fought game within two points. One of the most noteworthy aspects of Luke’s game was his poise, this kid was very comfortable and confident with every shot he took.
Starting guard, Nasir Price Nasir Price 6’3″ | CG Link Academy | 2026 MO was incredibly effective playing off the ball, he stayed on the perimeter floating around waiting for kick outs particularly after offensive rebounds. Price proved to be somebody that cannot be left opened, he drilled every open catch-and-shoot jumper that came his way. With the ball in hand, he displayed a knack for quickly spotting angles while being defended tightly. He instincts and counter attack dribbles allowed Price to get inside at will, although he wasn’t able to convert his attempts inside at a high rate the scoring capability and finishing potential were all there. On the defensive side of the ball, Nasir picked up his man the full length of the court maintaining tight space and not allowing the opposing guard to set their offense cleanly or comfortably. Ideal physical tools for the wiry 6-foot-3-inch freshman from his long reach to his quick leaping ability, Price utilized his long wingspan to contest, tip, and get a hand on shots while defending on the ball. His energy was amazing as well, showing a true passion for the game, and playing with a will to win, doing whatever it took including taking charges underneath the basket.

Tillman Jaramillo
Tillman’s high motor, competitiveness, physicality, heightened sense of awareness, and special energy on the defensive end stood out almost instantly and on a consistent basis. Tremendous intangibles, Jaramillo did all of the little things to impact the game including coming up clutch in crunch time by giving the Spartans a two-point lead after knocking down a deep range three-pointer from the left wing when the defense least expected it.
