As an added bonus, all games were live-streamed on the 7outz Network and are currently available on the network. The event featured several class of 2026 players that played well. In this article, we take a look at some freshmen standouts from the event.
The aggressive lefty showed off some skill on Saturday, thought he showed good maturity on the court, playing under control and with good pace. He was able to score it, slashing to the bucket on strong downhill drives.
Should be an interesting year at Clark as they have a ton of young players that will contribute for them, Durrough looks to be one them. He took advantage of his time, showing some shooting skill, knocking down a coulpe of threes during the event.
Alan is another one of the Clark freshman that’ll see some varsity minutes. He played fast, and with active hands. The guard was at his best when he was able to get out and play in transition.
I liked what I saw from Speed. He has a good feel for the game, and is a decent athlete. He is aptly named as he likes to attack the rim with a burst. He knocked down mid range shots in the half court and transition pull up situations, plus hit a few threes in catch and shoot situations.
The diminutive Martinez played with good energy and effort for a young player. He has the potential to be a good offensive threat, as he displayed good instincts and some skill knocking down a few corner threes.
