John Kelly John Kelly 6'7" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 F Rutgers Prep 2024
Kelly steps into a big role for the Argonauts as he fills the void left by Ryan Zan‘s graduation. The 6’7 forward has a good faceup game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish strong around the basket. Kelly is unafraid of drawing contact in the paint and can knock down jumpers from behind the arc. He works hard on both ends of the glass and moves well without the ball in his hands. Kelly’s ability to play inside and out is something that will help his stock in a big way this season for Rutgers Prep.
Logan Franz Logan Franz 6'10" | PF Rutgers Prep | 2026 State NJ , 6’10 PF Gill St. Bernard’s 2026
The Knights have a good underclassmen group, but none may be more intriguing than Franz. The lanky 6’10 post dives hard to the basket where he knows how to finish with authority above the rim. Franz has a good touch in the paint and can hit open jumpers on the perimeter. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and uses his length to swat shots around the basket. Franz is a lanky forward prospect who should only get better as the season goes on.
Josh Moore Josh Moore 5'9" | PG Montgomery | 2024 State NJ , 5’9 PG Montgomery 2024
Moore will be tasked with running the Cougars’ offense with Ryan Curry moving on. The 5’9 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get into the lane and finish around the basket. Moore has a nice touch on his mid-range game and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Moore’s ability to run the offense effectively will be key to Montgomery’s success in 2022-23.
John Kelly, 6’3 W Watchung Hills 2024
Kelly will get more looks on the offensive end this season and should make the most of his opportunity. The 6’3 wing has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down jumpers in bunches. Kelly moves well without the ball in his hands and is a solid finisher around the basket. He has an underrated handle and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Kelly is a sharpshooting wing prospect whose ability to knock down jumpers from distance will help his game in a big way.
Will Frank Will Frank 6'0" | CG Bernards | 2024 State NJ , 6’0 CG Bernards 2024
Frank is a breakout prospect to watch in the Skyland Conference as he can affect the game in a number of ways. The 6’0 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he can finish in a number of ways around the basket and is unafraid of contact. Frank plays with confidence with the ball in his hands and is capable of creating separation off the bounce. He is capable of playing on or off the ball and is a solid defender. Frank had two 20-point games last season, which is a mark he should surpass in 2022-23.
