Greyson is back for his final season with the Wildcats. Singletary who actually lives in the Hoop State has been very instrumental in the Wildcats success the past few seasons. Greyson has a quick trigger from behind are arc and won’t hesitate to launch it from downtown. The Wildcats stayed in Class 2A and didn’t make a move up. Singletary is a very deceptive athlete on the floor.
Brantley made the move over to the SCISA ranks from nearby Wade Hampton HS. Brendon and the Warriors made the jump up in classification. Brantley has a nice mid-range game off the bounce and good length. Brendon will look to be the go-to guy for the Warriors and Head Coach Josh Barnes this season.
Brantley averaged 12.4 ppg last season while at Wade Hampton HS.
Johnson has really thinned out his frame and seems to be in better shape this year than in years past. David has grown a bit in the height column. He has really started to show a nice mid-range game and really likes to pop up with an elbow jumper. David will be the key to the success of the Warriors this season with his leadership on the floor.
Clark has a strong frame and stocky frame from the point guard position. Robert a point guard transferred in from Wade Hampton HS with Brantley this past off season. Clark fights off contact well to the bucket and understands how to get the ball into the paint. He will jump on the floor for a loose ball or take a charge it seems almost at will at times.
Brock is a big-bodied post player down in the paint. Ray plays up in Moncks Corner over in Berkeley County. Ray has a great set of hands and really does a good job of playing with his back to the basket. Brock can step-out for a short face-up jumper from time to time. He really needs to get more touches in games with some guards to feed him the rock. Ray is a legit space eater down low that really plays off the grid down in the Lowcountry ‘ last=”].
Manning is a new name Prep Hoops was able to see this past summer at the SCISA Live 2022 event at Cardinal Newman. Ryheim will play both forward positions for the Wildcats while really looking to play out on the perimeter. Manning has a nice stroke from 3-point-range and he looks to possibly still be growing in height. He’s a very nice compliment to teammate Greyson Singletary Greyson Singletary 6’1″ | SG Dillon Christian | 2023 State SC on this Wildcats roster.
Highlights
Kinloch is new name to follow in the years to come down in the Lowcountry ‘ last=”]. Deuce plays bigger than his size and really does a good job of filling the lanes in transition. Look for him to get some good minutes early on at St John’s Christian Academy.
