Lomax earns double-double
Last night saw Avon defeat Mooresville 68-54 behind 2024 guard Jordan Lomax Jordan Lomax 6'3" | SG Brownsburg | 2024 State IN ‘s big night. The talented combo guard ended the night with a 14 point, 10 rebound double-double while adding 3 assists and 1 steal. His huge night helped the Avon Orioles earn their first win of the year. Lomax is one of the most talented guards in the 2024 class and is expected to have a big junior year. Avon has a date Hamilton Southeastern on Dec. 2nd next.
Sisley with a HUGE debut, surpasses 500 career point mark
In the season debut of not only Heritage Hills but for one of the best players in the state Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN , he and the Patriots were able to beat North Harrison 67-63 to start the season off 1-0. The story of the night however was that Sisley lead the team with 28 points which put him past the 500 career point mark already in only his sophomore season. It is not secret that Sisley is one of the most sought after 2025’s in the state big performances like that are going to be a regular occurrence this season. Heritage Hills’ Charlie Brentlinger also had 20 points for the Patriots as well.
Westfield beats Kokomo
Both Westfield and Kokomo made their season debut last night with the Shamrocks beating the Wildcats 47-39. Westfield’s Trey Buchanan Trey Buchanan 6'0" | PG Westfield | 2024 State IN led Westfield with 15 points while Alex Romack Alex Romack 6'6" | PF Westfield | 2023 State IN added 13 points and Sam Bishop Sam Bishop 6'2" | SG Westfield | 2023 State IN dropped 12 points. On Kokomo’s side, the 2024 phenom Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN led all scorers with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Multiple coaches from the Indiana staff were in to see Bidunga. Westfield will play at Pendleton Heights on Nov. 29th while Kokomo will play at Peru on Dec. 2nd.
