Daryl Adams III Daryl Adams III 5'10" | PG L.B Landry Highschool | 2025 State LA 5’10” L.B Landry
Daryl, is a must see player this year. He is a smart floor general who can score in bunches. He has great court vision and can shoot the three point shot. He is a hard worker and will continue to get better.Daryl has great finishing ability and is really good in transition.Defensively, he is good at getting in passing lanes and creating turnovers. L.B Landry lost in the quarterfinals in last year’s playoffs.
Jordan Mathews Jordan Mathews 6'5" | SF Peabody | 2024 State LA 5’10” Vandebilt Catholic
Jordan, is a dynamic point guard who is a excellent ball handler and has nice looking outside shot, He is good at breaking down defenses off the dribble and finding open teammates. Jordan is good from mid -range or behind the arc. Defensively, he knows the right spot to be on court and has very active hands. Vandebilt Catholic lost in the 1st round of the playoffs last season
Chris Shiflett Chris Shiflett 5'10" | PG Evangel | 2025 State LA 5’9″ Evangel Christian Academy
Chris , as a sophomore may already be one the best point guards in the state. He does everything well shoot, pass ,rebound, defense and lead his team. He dictates the pace of the game and seems to never make bad decisions with the ball in his hands . Chris is a must see player this season. Evangel lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs last season. Chris is another year older and Evangel may be in for a deeper playoff run this year.
Jamal Drewery Jamal Drewery 5'10" | PG Scotlandville | 2025 State LA 5’10” Scotlandville
Jamal, is already one of the best point guards in the state.He only will get better and better. He is very quick in transition and can shoot the basketball from everywhere. He also dictates the pace and makes great passes . Defensively , he puts constant pressure on the ball and creates turnovers. Scotlandville is the defending Division 1 champs.
Kerry McMillian Kerry McMillian 6'1" | PG John F Kennedy | 2025 State LA 6’1″ John F Kennedy
Kerry, is one another outstanding sophomore point guard. He is a scoring point guard who shoots it well from behind the arc. He also can beat you off the dribble and can finish in traffic. Kerry is a definite player to watch this year . He plays outstanding defense and is already 6’1″. John F Kennedy lost in the 1st round last year.
